Dr.Rudeseal is the BEST doctor in Birmingham. He cares about all of his patients, and LISTENS carefully to his patients. His knowledge of medicine is unequaled. The best!

I stopped in without an appointment and asked if I could be seen. The receptionist said that would not be a problem. I understand that it takes longer when you do not have an appointment but a two hour wait is not acceptable. If I had been told up front that the wait time is about two hours I could have made my decision to wait or to reschedule based upon that bit of information. I finally left out of frustration. I have been a patient of Dr. Rudeseal for years and I think he is a great doctor but I will never step foot in that office again based on the staff not even making an effort to up date me during the wait and letting me sit there for two hours. When I finally had enough and told the receptionist that I can not wait any longer she asked if I would like to reschedule for tomorrow morning at 9:30 am.

Dr. Rudeseal has been my doctor since probably 1987. I could not ask for more knowledgeable or caring doctor. He doesn't rush you through an office visit. He recently told me that he takes time to get to know his patients so that he can treat the whole person. His staff is friendly and thorough in their duties. What more can I say?

Doctor Rudeseal is quite excellent. I always feel comfortable whenever I'm in his office. His bedside manner and his diagnosese are on point. He relates to and communicates well with the patients.

Dr. Rudeseal diagnosed me with fibromyalgia several years ago. At first, it seemed that he was understanding of my illness. He allowed me time off from work when my illness kept me in bed. And although, Dr. Rudeseal stated that he would recertify my FMLA forms, he did not. I lost several days at work and have been disciplined due to my illness. Dr. Rudeseal also referred me to another Dr, who doesn't even believe in Fibromyalgia. I'm not sure what happened with Dr. Rudeseal, but he certainly has changed. I have been a patient for over 16 years and for the first time, I am looking for a new Dr.

Although, the wait time can be long at Dr. Rudeseal's office, he is worth the wait. He has an excellent bedside manner, and is one of the most intelligent doctors I have ever met. He always accurately diagnoses a problem, and if met with one outside of his expertise, he has excellent referrels. He has been an M.D. for a long time, and he knows all of the best specialists in town. I am so glad that he is my doctor!
