Dr. Frank Ruiz, MD

I brought my son to see Dr. Ruiz today. He has an awesome personality and made my son feel very comfortable.

My Son has had suffered from abdominal pain in the past and A friend recommended Dr. Ruiz...I made an appointment with him. The women in his office had no problem scheduling me for a consultation. Monica, was very helpful answering any questions I had. After seeing dr ruiz, not only did He diagnose the problem, He also made several suggestions on how to change his diet and Lifestyle to make sure the problem doesnt occur again. My son has been pain free ever since...thanks again to dr ruiz and his staff!

I COULD NOT DISAGREE WITH THE PREVIOUS REVIEW MORE. I HAVING PROBLEMS AND CALLED HIS OFFICE. THEY WERE ABLE TO FIT ME IN THE NEXT DAY. I ONLY HAD TO WAIT ABOUT 10 MINUTES AND HIS OFFICE STAFF WAS FANTASTIC. DR RUIZ WAS ABLE TO MAKE A DIAGNOSIS AND I HAVE BEEN PAIN FREE SINCE. HIS OFFICE STAFF COULD DID A GREAT JOB DEALING WITH MY INSURANCE COMPANY AND WORKING OUT ANY COMPLICATIONS. I RECEIVED A FOLLOW UP CALL FROM HIS OFFICE JUST TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS OK. I RECOMMENED DR RUIZ TO MY MOTHER IN LAW AND SHE WENT TO HIM AS WELL. HIS STAFF WAS MORE THAN ACCOMMODATING TO HER AS WELL. SHE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN HAPPIER WITH HER EXPERIENCE. DR RUIZ AND HIS STAFF ARE THE TOP IN FIELD.

I was desperate and he was the only doctor I could get an appointment with.. i went to the Clifton office a couple of months ago and the staff was horrendous. They were literally on their phones the entire time. I got stuck waiting for TWO hours before she realized she never even put that I was there. Then she told me to hold on with a horrible attitude while she went somewhere in the back to make herself a cup of coffee. Then when it came time to schedule my procedure that girl was even worse. She was rude and nasty and did not have any idea of what she was talking about. I called to confirm my appointment for the procedure and she had NEVER put me on the schedule. Then when i called to speak to a manager she refused to let me speak with her saying that she had done nothing wrong. I am appalled and disgusted with that office. STAY AWAY FROM THEM !!!

WORST DOCTOR I HAVE IN MY ENTIRE LIVE, when to him to do an endoscopy and colonoscopy, together with my husband, when we were still on the recover room, he came over and spoke to us like 12 feets away in the middle of both us. a few days I call the office to talk to him about what he said that day because I was still a little dizzy, never return my call, after that I call another 3 times with no return call at all. Never received a call from any nurse from the office to tell me I need medication, 8 months later I decided to go back to get all my records, they gave it to me, after i did complained to the office clerk, she told me he will call me and that day he actually did, and them almost a year later i found out I need to take medication, he have all kind of excuses, which for me they are not valid at all. I am taking my medication for sure no going back to him. OFFICE STAFF HORRIBLE WHETEVER FOR THEM NOT HELP AT ALL

I had a wonderful experience at Dr. Ruiz' office, he was very reassuring about the procedure (i had a friend who had a bad experience at Hackensack so i was a little hesitant to get the procedure done). On the day of the exam, his nurses were wonderful and it was overall a great experience for a not so pleasant procedure! I have already recommended several friends to him.

IN OFFICE FOR 2 SECONDS - HE WAS MORE CONCERNED ABOUT HIMSELF AND WAS CARRYING ON ABOUT HOW THE ACA WAS GOING TO IMPACT HIM. OFFICE STAFF SHOULD HAVE "WHATEVER" IN GIANT LETTERS ON THEIR FOREHEADS - PATHETIC! NOT ONE OF THEM COULD ANSWER EVEN THE SIMPLEST QUESTION -SCARY! HE IS SUPPOSED TO ACCEPT WHAT MY INSURANCE PAYS AS A PREFERRED PROVIDER BUT KEEPS BILLING ME FOR THE DIFFERENCE AND IS THREATENING TO PUT ME IN COLLECTIONS AND RUIN MY CREDIT. THE BILLING OFFICE HAS A RECORDED MESSAGE AT ALL TIMES AND NO ONE CALLS YOU BACK REGARDLESS OF HOW MANY MESSAGES YOU LEAVE. TERRIBLE IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD - I WOULDN'T LET HIM GIVE ME AN ASPRIN LET ALONE A COLONOSCOPY - STAY AWAY - VERY BAD TREATMENT!
