I had to comment after all this time. After years of seeing him he was more concerned about his out of practice “activism” than his patients. Very sloppy visits

he is the right doctor for me. i also enjoy his dog "hoffman".

Very uncourteous staff/receptionist. The Doctor hardly made eye contact with me as he was trying to get done and rush me out. I can't stand people, especially healthcare providers who ask how you are doing, but without really listening to the answer. If you don't care for your patients, you chose the wrong profession. . .Accounting would have been more appropriate

Very disorganized and not good with complex cases...could be his staff- receptionist but he hurt me very much...I thought I found the doc of my dreams....after hearing him speak at World Aids Day in NY,I was moved! I have many issues and switchching ID docs is not easy...I missed 2 apts because of a family emergency, and called same day...he in tern drops me. Seems too busy with book tour/ I would like him to reconsider. I am a good person who needs a doctor I can be completely honest with..he is gay as am I and he told me that I came to the right place, with pride he told me how he really kept a small patient load so that he could get to know each very well. After almost 3 months, I feel he does not like me or want to get to know me. His loss. I am hurt and disappointed.
