Dr. Frederick E Harlass, MD

I'm just wanted to say this about Dr Heartless, he is a very knowledgeable doctor, straight forward,say it like it is, that kind of doctor, but this man is hard on the outside and soft on the inside. and I rather have a doctor not giving me the run around and instead telling me what's wrong and what I should do , in a minute, without hesitation. I had the privileged to work with him, and that's that!.

My name is Sangeeta Gupta. I live in Chicago.. 17 years back I was in El-Paso.. and had a very high risk pregnancy case. I am so glad that I met Dr. Harless. If I would not find him the things might have been different. No one actually willing to take my case but Dr. Harless, it was very hard to save mother and child both but this was Dr Harless who made it possible. Today My son is 17, and when ever he ask me who is my birth doctor. I simply said he is an angle. Who came in our life when we desperately need him. Can’t forget Dr Harless and his efforts he made for us.May he live long so that he can become angle to others too.

Dr.Harlass is in the room with the patient about 1 minute. He opens your chart and says "everything looks good, see you in 3 weeks." It's rediculous and unprofessional.

If you plan having him as your doctor during pregnancy reconsider it. He just delivered the baby and left during the c-section and he never came back to the hospital to check me. They gave the release order over the phone.

Dr harlass is a really nice and very respect dr and he unstand you he answers your quistion if he can. I had my son by a c section and Dr harlass did a good job a on delivery my son also his staff are nice to they are not mean like other people say they are very friendly ladies. I would totaly go back to him if I want a baby again.

When i went to my appointment the secretary was rude, she wouldnt accept me just because i didnt had my insurance card with me, after arguing the dr told her to let me in. The dr harlass is nice but does not have good manners to tell you his opinion. My daughter had anencephaly i was 6months pregnant and he told me to get an abortion as soon as possible due to my daughters abnormality. But he said it in a way like if it was nothing, which i thought it was wrong. It was my first pregnancy and i felt really bad about my loss

This is actually my second review for Dr. Harlass. In my original review Iaccidentally fat fingered the keys and only gave him 3 stars and I wanted to correct that and tell you that he really deserves 5 stars and more. I have been going to Dr. Harlass for my second pregnancy and it has been wonderful. The front office and nurses are so nice and helpful and Dr. Harlass himself is kind, comforting and really takes the time to answer my questions. (all 100 of them!) He is also really funny and makes you feel relaxed and comfortable, which can be hard in a doctors office. I never wait more than a couple of minutes and I really do look forward to every appointment. If you are looking for the best doctor for you and your baby you will be so happy here! This is a completely different experience this time around I am so happy with my decision. He really is the best and I would never consider anyone else.

Dr Harlass is a wonderful dr. He explains everything in detail and shows incredible compassion. He is the best in his field in El paso

Dr. Harlass is an excellent doctor. Very courteous, friendly, and always smiling. Staff is friendly and courteous. I have never had any issues or complaints to say about Dr. Harlass or Staff...

Dr. Harlass is not just a specialist he is a super-- man....human being....he delivered 2 of my children and one in the way....I had a prior MC...he helped me very much....my pregnancies are high risk...I have varies of medical conditions...not feeling well most of the time...but when I go to my appointments is a thrill....staff is very helpful...make you smile...when you see the doctor he makes your day....I leave that office laughing , feeling good. Even my husband has fun when he gets to go with me to my appointments. I recommend Dr. Harlass 1000% he will not treat u like a number nor a stranger but make you feel comfortable. That's why I return to him for my OBGYN care and pregnancies. Thank you Dr. Harlass for being that special person in our lives...
