Dr. Fredric Michael Barr, MD

After searching for a "mini lift" surgeon for the past 2 years, in February 2025, I came across the skilled Dr. Barr in West Palm Beach and requested a consultation. I knew when speaking with him during the consultation that he was the right surgeon for me. With minimal down time, no drains or bandages, this was the procedure I wanted. During our pre- op visit, he relayed realistic expectations and evaluated the symmetry of my face. I am soon to be 69 years old and am 3 weeks post op and couldn't be happier with the results. It was just enough of a lift to re-define the jaw line and reign in the upper neck bands and jowls. I am very happy with the results and highly recommend Dr. Barr and his wonderful staff to anyone that is considering this or other cosmetic procedures. Coming from out of state, the entire process was seamless- communication was ongoing, directives for pre and post-op were very clear and the degree of professionalism was top notch. Zero stars if possible. I had the absolute worst experience with this surgeon. The follow up care was not good, my incisions opened up and didn’t close for months ( not my fault). I had breast implants removed and a lift as suggested by the surgeon. I left with two different size breasts, scars across my breasts, visible stitch marks, areolas that are totally deformed, purple scars and I’m just about as unhappy as I could be. He has two accounts in yelp so I will be sure to share my experience in both. I am also happy to provide pictures to anyone who is considering this surgeon- you can be the judge for yourself! I can’t wear a normal bra or fitted shirts because of the concave areolas that make my breasts look like Pac-Man! I need a revision for the lift, tattoos to at least make my breasts look a bit better and a fat transfer to fill in the missing tissue on the smaller breast and concave aerolas which will cost me another 15k at least and they will likely never look great again.… Feel free to message me for pics!

Caring, over-the-top personal attention through every step of my experience. I had a necklift and upper eyelids lifted. Coming up on one year and loving my results! I look very natural - which is what I wanted. I don’t think anyone knows I had anything done, but I just look a lot better!!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Barr and a staff! From the moment I met them, everyone made me feel so welcomed and safe. I had the mini awake facelift and I am beyond thrilled with the results! If anyone is even thinking about it, I urge you to go for it! The numbing shots are a little rough but after that it’s smooth sailing! The first night I had slight discomfort that Tylenol took care of, the next day there was zero pain… Just some swelling! I had very little bruising if any! Within six days I looked absolutely fantastic! Dr. Barr is a genius and extremely gifted ! I am very grateful to him and his staff for taking such good care of me and making me feel beautiful again!

I am so pleased with the results of my mini lift and laser treatment! Dr. Barr is a good surgeon and my results are proof. I think I look 10 years younger. Candy, the RNFA is very skilled and precise. Staff is friendly and efficient.

A week ago, I was a patient of Dr. Barr's for a mini face lift, which he is well known for. All has gone well so far and the result was a big improvement, especially in my neck area which did not have excess fat so much, but had excess loose skin around my neck bands which was unattractive. I had been considering this procedure for some time, but finally got up the nerve to make the appointment. Glad I did. I can't speak for others, but I experienced no pain, but of course some discomfort. I was making dinner for my husband the first night and driving on day two! The local anesthesia allowed me a much easier initial recovery. Dr. Barr and his staff were a pleasure to work with and most helpful. Pre and post surgery directions were provided covering diet, medications and activities that helped my surgery outcome. Presently, the first of my stitches have been removed and as directed, warm compresses are reducing my swelling. Thankfully, the healing process seems to be on track.

Dr. Barr and Candy are amazing! My lipo was so smooth and the results were more than I had hoped for. Candy is hands down the best for injectables.

Dr. Barr and his team were amazing. They reassured me through the whole process and made me feel at peace. I am glad I chose him for my explant.
