Dr. Fuki Hisama, MD

Does not listen to any concerns, brushes you off like your wasting her time. Instead of taking precautions after being diagnosed with something that’s not widely known, she wrote in the report she doesn’t recommend anything to be done. Had she taken precautions and did certain screenings, it could of caught my cavernous malformation before it bled. DO NOT waste your time.

I just finished meeting with this person who whose attitude was extremely pretentious. She spent the entire time explaining what genetic testing isn't able to do, while utterly failing in being clear on what it is capable of. She and her cohorts belabored obvious information in an insufferably condescending fashion. I don't recommend her to anyone.

I went to see dr.Hisama several months ago and it was the single worst experience I have had with a doctor. She was extremely rude to the point where she would roll her eyes and sigh with exasperation when my mom or I asked her basic questions about tumors in my spine and possible prevention. She tried to rush us out the door and was highly condescending. She was more concerned with asking if I smoke (I have never touched a cigarette) and wouldn't believe my answer then discussin the tumors in my spine. When she finally addressed the actual issue she had no knowledge of my type of tumors and is now preventing me from seeing the specialit's that I actually need to see because of her lack of knowledge. Her behavior was unacceptable for someone in her position and I have never been so appalled by a Healthcare professional's behavior.

Sighs very loudly when you asks questions. Seems like she's trying very hard not to be hostile.
