Horrible person and doctor.

This clown is NOT who you want to deal with if you have ANYTHING to do other than spend hours in a waiting room for mediocre care. On top of being a complete jerk, he doesn't answer questions or help clarify problems/treatments. He''ll simply disregard your concerns and schedule another appt.

I'm not sure how this guy can be an emotionally stable human. He seems to run hot and cold, according to the reviews. My take is that he is a self-absorbed Jack-as- with little concern for his practice or patients. Do yourself a favor and keep looking.

he was more than 90 minutes late for the appointment, when only 1 other person was n the office. When he finally came to the exam room, he was more focused on asking to give feedback on the new chairs he was considering for the waiting room, than providing patient care. he did not really review the lab results... He just continued to talk about how expense the medicine he was prescribing was 4 years prior ( before it had a generic option).

I went thru a ton of blood test's, radiology and ultrasounds to find out I had a small nodule on my thyroid. My test scores were fine but he still put me on medication which later I found was not needed. He then attempted to do a biopsy of the nodule in which he did not numb the site or try to calm my nerves. He was rude and kept telling me to stop my nerves. I had informed him of a needle phobia many times before and expected him to be a little more patient. He became agitated, stuck the needle in my neck in a very aggressive manor, I tensed up and he pulled the needle out threw it on the table stated, "well I guess you will never know if you have cancer or not" and left the room to go attend to another patient in another room. Both my fiancé and Mom were with me and all of us were appalled at this behavior. I turned him into the board and never returned. I am now trying to get my medical files and they are giving me a hard time stating that they are archived and difficult to get to.… It has been a month. DO NOT SEE THIS DR.

Love this doctor been going there 20+ years.

I was in the hosp over thanksgiving with a stroke, learned it was caused by diabetes. I was given an order to see Dr. Thampy but I do not have INS.....I have applied for Medicaid, but it is pending. Dr. Thampy would not see me unless I paid a $450.00 self pay! I have no idea what im doing with my treatment, which I guess is completely up to me now googling diabetes.......Thanks Doc!

Dr. Thampy and his nursing staff are the best, but the receptionist is ugly to patients. Especially the elderly. Her tone and how she handled an elderly patient was uncalled for. Not a good look with a waiting room full of patients.

My OBGYN did my blood work and the results came back with very low testosterone and DHEA so I was referred to Dr. Thampy. For my first visit, it was an OK experience but I spent most of my time with his nurse. He only stayed for a few minutes and left and never came back. After getting blood work and a thyroid ultrasound, I was hoping for some information to guide me in the right direction. I showed up to my follow up appt and went back to the exam room within a few minutes. 20 minutes later the nurse came in and asked if I had blood work done!!!!! They never got the results!!!!! So I had to wait for an hour before the nurse and Dr. came back to my room. Dr. Thampy looked at my results and said the only thing the blood work showed is inflammation somewhere in my body and he didn’t know what was causing it. His advice to me.........I should go to the MAYO Clinjc in Minnesota so they can figure out what was wrong with me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He said he recommends… the MAYO Clinic to several patients a week!!!!!! Don’t waste your time or money with Dr. Thampy.

This guy is a complete joke. I really can't say if he is a competent doc, because he wanted me to make 2 possibly 3 visits before he would treat me for hypothyroidism. I know this because he told the nurse practitioner what I had based on blood tests and symptoms.He won't discuss any tests or treatments unless you make an office visit. What a waste of time and money!! Lastly, if I pay for a doctor appointment, I expect to discuss my issues and treatments with a doctor, not a N.P.
