Gabriel G. Lazcano, MD, is a highly experienced anterior segment surgeon with more than 13 years of experience in South Florida. He specializes in no-stitch cataract surgery and refractive surgery. Dr. Lazcano completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Miami. He received his doctorate in medicine from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, La. Following an internship in internal medicine, Dr. Lazcano completed his residency in ophthalmology at the Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans. Dr. Lazcano is the medical director at Coral Gables Surgery Center and South Florida Eye Associates. He has privileges at North Miami Beach Surgical Center, Hialeah Hospital, Bayside Ambulatory Center in Miami and Physicians Outpatient Surgery Center in Fort Lauderdale, among others. Dr Lazcano is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Amazing experience. Very friendly and professional staff. As a law enforcement officer my eye sight can save my life and others. I couldn't think of anyone else that I would trust to work on my eyes other than the staff at Laser Center of Miami. For the first time I can see without corrected lenses. Thanks Dr. Lazcano and Staff!

I had my surgery a week ago and I can't stress how happy I am. The procedure was quick and painless. The recovery was quick as well by the next day I was feeling great. The whole team is amazing ; very kind and professional. Overall, it was just the best investment ever.

He speend almost no time with you. You have to constantly take research for questions you may need to ask because he will not tell you. His office is always behind with the aptments. He was late for my surgery which was moved from 11am to 2pm. I will not recomend this doctor.
