ll seemed fine in the beginning but got progressively worst. He seemed to always be in a hurry and his explanations got generic. When pressed for answers, almost always his answer was "I don't know". He never followed up. I finally left him when even his triages were incomplete. I finally looked him up with the Texas Medical Assoc. He has a criminal record in Tarrant county & has settled for money on a malpractice law suit. I wish I had known. Avoid him. He's after your insurance money and uses his PA's rather than seeing patients himself.

I agree with the last comment. If you must go here, ask for one of his PA's. at least they will give you some time. I stopped going to this guy. No a doctor, he.s a factory.

Competent doctor, just overloaded. Seems to work for a large company only interested in the numbers. You have to press to get any rime with him. 50% of the time huh will be forced to see an assistant instead.

I have been a patient with Dr. Ortiz since 2009. He is thorough and exhibits patience with me when I ask many questions. His PA, Carly Boone, is fantastic. When I need a referral it is taken care of in a timely manner. Every six months, the office calls me to come in for blood work. Very efficient!

Dr. Ortiz prevaricates, would not deal with the problems I have & tried to referr me to anyone other than him. Office staff nice, Carly Boone is great, but they work for an idiot!

I have been a patient with Dr. Ortiz for several years. Both he and his staff are friendly, empathetic and prompt. Dr. Ortiz has a great PA named Carly Boone who is super. I would recommend anyone to this doctor.

Avoid this Dr. at all cost, he does not put the patient first, and does not follow what Health Texas advertises. He and several members of his staff are absolutely rude.

If you are a patient of Dr. Ortiz, run, don't walk as fast as you can. He is one of the worst Dr's. I have ever seen. He told me I had nothing wrong with me, and they had decided anyone 70 and older, if they found something wrong with them, not to treat it. I changed Dr's immediately, and found I was in stage 2 of kidney failure, have some heart problems, 2 aneursyns, and more. He is the worst Dr. I have ever seen.

Overall he is a bad dr. After having major surgery with medical records to prove it dr Ortiz refused to assist in my care. The staff is friendly but the office manager is horrible absolutely unprofessional. DO NOT go there is you having anything more than a regular check up, please he does not care about the wealfare of his patients
