very unprofessional, minimizing my husband situation. Asked me to stand up because she wanted to have a seat, and never introduce herself. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

I’ve always had very positive experiences in the ER until recently when my elderly mother was treated for a head laceration. Dr. Rubin was abrupt, minimizing, condescending, and outwardly rude while questioning me about my mother. She did not even bother to introduce herself or say hello upon entering. She also had the audacity to say that I wasn’t giving her the information she needed.....my sister, who was there, was the better historian. What kind of doctor says that, or makes one feel less than? This physician is clearly not someone I would want caring for me or my family member(s). A little compassion, empathy and understanding goes a long way, plus some sensitivity. Intimidation, curtness, and belittling individuals are not criteria for upstanding physicians, in my opinion. Does she not realize that persons entering through the ER doors are in need of help and understanding? A sensitIvity course would benefit her greatly, but you can guarantee I won’t be back to find… out if she learned anything.

Im really happy to see the above honest review. I meet Dr Rubin in the ER and I felt belittled by her and truly insulted by her comments. I now know I am not alone by the other review. Clearly the other reviews were written by family or friends as there is no way this 'doctor' could be construed as a good physician and especially a good person. I hope she is part of the OLD guard of medicine that will be phased out where the patient is not allowed to be part of the care team.

Clearly she is a miserable person. The way she snaps at others and patients and really only pieces minimal information needed to call in real doctors. Even though we saw her once in the ER. Once is plenty. I will be writing a letter to the CEO as well. Do everyone a favor and retire.

Dr Rubin is brilliant - she diagnosed me 100% accurately, she was professional, caring, fast acting and put me at ease. I highly recommend her !

Dr Rubin was amazing ! She diagnosed me accurately! She orchestrated my surgery and was there throughout. She SAVED MY LIFE!

Dr. Rubin -Kwal made my ER experience as good as one can be. She was efficient and supportive. She took the time out of her busy night and explained everything to comfort me.

Fast and efficient. Diagnosed my symptoms and was very caring.

Dr. Rubin- Kwal was very mean and had terrible bedside manor. She made me feel like she could care less about me, and wanted me out of the ER as fast as possible. I am not sure if she diagnosed me right or not, so I can not comment on that.

So grateful of all the attention and thoughtful care of dr. Rubin and all the staff at Boca Raton Regional ER. who took care of me while experiencing the worst pain of my life. Thank you!!
