Dr. Garnetta Mccoy Ely, MD

Dr. Ely is an outstanding doctor who demonstrates superior diagnostic and treatment skills, as well as, compassion by listening to any of her patient's concerns. Her overall recommendations are always helpful.

I called Dr. Ely's office since I was referred to her by another Dr. The person that answered the phone was not helpful and told me that since I had seen another Rheumatologist in the past that the Dr would not take me on as a new patient. The only reason why I need a new rheumatologist is that my old one left his practice and the other providers in the practice could not take on additional case loads....not to mention I moved to a different town and Dr. Ely would have been much more convenient. I will stick with the dr's in Rochester as there are many more of them than there were 7 years ago when I was dropped by my old practice. The receptionist told me that they would call me after review of records sent to them by my GP and it would take "awhile" but could not give a time frame. Very frustrating & very disappointing to be turned away because I already have a diagnosis!

Dr. Ely is outstanding in all areas. Her diagnosis and treatment have been excellent. She is always compassionate and spends a large amount of time listening to my concerns.
