I could not have asked for a better experience with Dr. Bellman and his staff at Southern California Urology Institute! I had to go to the ER with a kidney stone on a Sunday evening. There, the on call urologist placed a stent in my kidney to allow it to function until I could have the stone dealt with. I then contacted Dr. Bellman's office to inform them of my situation. They took action immediately! They scheduled me in as soon as possible, had me X-Rayed to assess the situation and organized my surgery to remove both the stent and stone right away. They stayed in constant contact with me the entire time, making sure I was okay and prepared. The surgery went off without a hitch! Dr. Bellman himself reach out to me several times after the surgery (at least once a day, for many days) to make sure I was okay and not in any pain. His staff then scheduled a follow up when it was convenient to my schedule. I can't say enough how perfect the entire experience was! Dr. Bellman was incredible and his staff was so patient, understanding, and really worked hard to get me taken care of right away. He stepped in to finish a process started by a different urologist and really took care of me. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Bellman and the Southern California Urology Institute! You will not be disappointed! Thank you Dr. Bellman!

Dr. Bellman has been very helpful in dealing with reoccurring UTI's that have plagued me for some time. He kindly responded to my messages on the weekend when most UTI's seem to hit. As well, he has prescribed good prevention supplements that help to avoid another UTI from occurring.
Top class

Great Dr and more important: great human being. I have nothing but good words to say about Dr Bellman and his office staff. I had an hydrocele surgery which went very well and Se Bellman emailed me every single day after my surgery to see how am I doing. Very good experience!!!!

Worst Experience of My Life

My PSA score kept rising and I went to Dr. Bellman. He talked about taking biopsies and when we met to discuss them, he told me that he was going to take 14 biopsies. I was happy. When he was done and I asked how many he took, he said 6. I was very surprised because my score was indicating something was wrong. I asked why only 6 and he very cavalierly said that it's a small organ, not to worry. Then why the Protocol of 12? When I continued to see Dr. Bellman at the office and continued to complain that my score was going up and up, he said, oh they go up, they go down don't worry about it. I went to another Urologist and he said that the protocol was 12 and redid them. I was shocked to find that I had cancer and lost so much valuable time with Bellman. I had a Pet Scan and found that I was riddled with Cancer that had scattered in my bones My PSA score kept rising and I went to Dr. Bellman. I am now taking what's called Zytega and Lupron by injection and I am seeing Oncologists at UCLA for treatment. There is no cure.

Superb doctor who has expertly served me through two surgeries and numerous procedures. To put it succinctly, Dr. Bellman’s compassionate and thoughtful approach saved my bladder. I’ll be forever grateful for his excellent care. With pleasure I give him and his outstanding, wonderfully-responsive staff my absolute highest recommendation.

I visited Dr. Bellman because my recovery from Greenlight surgery (from a different provider) was not progressing and I still had symptoms. He was very kind and understanding. He checked on the progress and provided me with sample medications to see which might help. Later, when I asked for prescription, his nurse Jasmine was very responsive and efficient. She dealt with the insurance company and pharmacy to arrange for the medication. Thanks again.
Great experience
