Dr. Gary Charles Bernard, MD

He put me on his own compounded thyroid med forcing me to pay $60/mo for years when my lab work clearly showed that I was in the normal range. Now I feel cold all the time and my thyroid and metabolism are all screwed up. How does he manage to keep this medical license?

This is the worst, most unprofessional group of people I've ever had to deal with. Dr Bernard is constantly trying to sell you his concoctions from his pharmacy. He doesn't pay attention when you speak to him, he always goes back to whatever concoction he can sell you to treat whatever you're there for. If your appt is at 9:15, you might be out of there by 11:30, very long waiting time, they have no concern or respect for your time, nor will you ever hear them apologize for making you wait so long. They have a patient portal that you can make requests through that no one monitors or responds. If you email them with a request, they don't respond, I've emailed numerous times this week trying to get them to fax in a prescription for a mammogram and ultrasound, nothing. I'm also waiting for them to increase my thyroid meds, nothing. Four times this week alone, they don't respond. I'm done, I've already made an appoint with another doctor to be my PCP

Suffering from menopause in the worst way. A friend referred me to Dr Bernard. He did some blood test and prescribed Bio Identical Hormones along with Thyroid medication. Within a couple of weeks I was feeling 100% better. My husband was amazed at my transformation in such a short time. I also began loosing the weight I had gained with the menopause. His bedside manner isn’t the greatest however he does know what he is doing as attested by all the patience I have spoken with over the years I’ve been seeing him. The wait time to see Dr Bernard is ridiculous. A wait time of 2 hrs is not unusual, that’s why not 5 stars.

Dr. Benard is an egomaniac. He wants to prescribe as much medication to you as you are willing to pay for. If you push back at all, he gets loud and agitated and turns into a bully. Do yourself a favor and see someone else.

Dangerous Dr

wait times are HOURS. I have had the first appointment of the day and was still forced to wait HOURS while pregnant with a toddler. They are slow moving and over book. They only take blood in office and use their own pharmacy (costs me extra money). My family and I will be attending a new doctor from now on.

I have been here three times, and every time the wait time has been horrible. Otherwise, very satisfied.

Dr.B is one of a kind. He has been my doctor for 10 years+, wouldn't change doctors for the world. Dr. Bernard is a straight forward, tell you like it is doctor. There is several staff members I just adore.

Idk if anyone has been to the dr.'s but you ALWAYS wait. In this case I'm OK with waiting a little longer to get in for what I want. He was to the point and direct. Reminded me of the show House & him being Dr. House. Love him or hate him but I'm loving him (so is my husband) for what he's accomplished with our lives!! He's saved my marriage. It's amazing how he puts back your hormones and sense of well being.

Prepare for 4 hour visit. Terrible wait time, an hour or more. It doesnt seem like anybody really cares about your concerns. Without any testing done, automatically prescribed hormones. The only place you can get their prescriptions is their own personal pharmacy next door, that doesnt accept insurance and everytime its been 500 dollars or more for prescriptions, that I DONT need! Terrible expirences. Will never go again. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM! ALL OVER THIS PLACE! Please I urge you to not go here! If I could I would give it -5 stars.
