Dr. Gary S Fries, MD

Dr. Gary Fries is a thorough and compassionate oral surgeon. He has a very disarming chairside manner; he immediately recalled a previous non-dental encounter with me that I had forgotten, and we connected from there during the wait for the numbing to take effect. Then he doubled down on the numbing to make sure I had zero feeling in the area of the extraction. The post-op handout answered most all of my questions but he filled in the gaps anyway. Then he called me from his personal cell phone after office hours to check on me, thank me for the personal reconnect, and to emphasize to "keep it clean, keep it clean, keep it clean," meaning the site of the extracted tooth. The post-op pain and discomfort has been minimal at worst. I'm happy my regular dentist referred me to Dr. Fries for this extraction.

I have used Dr. Fries for several occasions. I have never had a Doctor call me after my appointment to be sure I was doing okay. Dr. Fries did it after every appointment. The last time I used him was an unplanned appointment when my regular dentist discovered an infected gland under my tongue that needed attention right away. Dr. Fries saw me right then and asked me, "Did I want to take care of it right away?" I said ,"Yes." He then did the necessary surgery which was successful. The report came back benign. He called me just before dark about 8 hours after the surgery to be sure I was okay. My wife has also used Dr. Fries with similar results.

He is a great dentist. I had both wisdom teethed pulled by him and didnt feel anything! He was truly amazing.
