Dr. Gaddis is the Saint Luke's/Missouri Endowed Chair in Emergency Medicine and a Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. In 2012, he was the recipient of the Peter Rosen Award, named after a founder of the specialty of emergency medicine and given by the American Academy of Emergency Medicine to one recipient annually to honor their contributions to the specialty. He has been certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine since 1990.
