I called to schedule an appointment and there happened to be a cancellation the next day at 2:00 so I took it. I thought that's great. The lady I spoke to told me to allow two hours. So I got there right at 2:00 and watched their video that the doctor recorded. I then waited from 2:10 to 3:00 to speak with the doctor (through a webcam) without being told anything why it was taking so long...you know, was he running behind, etc, etc. The staff was three foot away from me working. So I then asked why it was taking so long, wondering if I was even going to get out of there by 4:00. In an aggravated tone the girl said, "That's why I told you to allow two hours." So I said, "Well, do you know how much longer it will be, because I was supposed to be somewhere by 4:00?" She said, shruggingly, "I don't know. Then I said, "But it will be by 4:00, then, since my appointment was at 2:00?" And her response was, "I said ABOUT two hours," real snotty. (When I asked these questions, it was… in a totally polite manner.)So I sat back down and waited some more, until 3:40 this time. At this time it was an hour and 40 minutes. At that time, the doctor finally called in to speak to the other patient that had been waiting before me.While they were meeting, that same polite worker came and told me that after the doctor was finished talking with the other patient by webcam, that he had to go to Lawton and see five patients. I said, "Well, does that mean I wait? I mean, how long will he take?" And she said, which is the same response always, "I don't know." And she said, "Well, you said you had to be somewhere by 4 anyway." I said, "Can't he take five minutes just to talk to me?" (After all, I had waited an hour and 40 minutes.) And she said no. She said, "Can you reschedule?" I said that it was real hard for me to take off from work in the first place and no, I couldn't. By that time, I was thinking about staying however long I had to. So I asked her, "Will he call in by 5:00?" I was thinking, my gosh, that would be three hours! And she said, "I don't know." So I asked if they had a phone book and could I see it. (I was going to look for other weight clinics.)So a few minutes later I got up and the other girl, who, by the way, was very nice and friendly, asked if I needed to reschedule and I said no, I didn't want to reschedule and left. This was the worst and rudest experience I have ever had at a doctor's office. These people could care less about people waiting in their lobby for hours nor care how impolite they are. I sat there from 2:10 to 3:45 and they and the doctor could have cared less and not even an "I'm sorry." They made me feel like I was wasting their time.If this is how they treat their patients, then I hate to see what it would be like in the future. I guess the good ole doc maybe had kept other patients waiting in his other office just as long as me in Lawton and thought it would be better to make five times the money than just me and not risk all of those patients walking out because they probably waited as long as I did. Their website says that -- I'm paraphrasing -- they have webcam and it has really worked great because it is convenient for both locations and the doctor can even do webcam from home...wow! It sure is working great!I work with and come across A Lot of people, many of whom are working on losing weight, and I will make sure and tell everyone about this horrible experience through email or posting it...From,Absolutely Stupified
