Horrible experience. Horrible human being. Rude, swore at me, accused me of pill shopping after performance pf several block procedures! Stay away!

Very rude, uncaring, and egotistical. Yelled loudly and cussed, which I find very unprofessional. Told me I need to exercise, I told him I walk he screamed at me that isn't enough, well that is all I can do with a bad back and nerve damage. My Primary and Cardiologist said that walking was good cardiovascular physical activity, which increases your heart rate and lowers blood pressure.

I have a very long history with Dr. Gary L. Koehn. He is a man of the highest character and integrity. He is professional, credible, compassionate and frankly all of the things so many people say their doctors are not. I would trust Dr. Gary Koehn with my wife, my mother, my children, and of course myself. There is always someone who has had a bad experience, and those people are MANY times more likely to write reviews than people who are satisfied and happy. Proven fact. So I say that these grades should be taken with skepticism, and at the very least people should consider that they are reading only the negative reviews because the positives that WOULD offset those negatives just aren’t written. It takes time and people only take that time when they’re angry. Finally, from my own extensive and complex medical history with pain I can tell you that it has at times been the front desks of doctors and in one case the nurses where the problem(s) lay. And I made those complaints… personally known TO the doctor himself so that he could address the matter.

I went for pain relief. I did not want narcotics. My 1st visit wasnt great but I thought I would give him another chance. WOW. He advertises like he understands your pain and wants to help. However he thinks because he has some letters behind his name he is above everyone else. After seeing all the signs in his office I knew he handed out narcotics. Bring your bottles to your next appt. Doing urinalysis. I am a substance abuse counselor and I was curious to see if he was part of the opioid epidemic and sure enough he is. When I asked simple questions he asked me if I was a control freak. Really??? He needs to get off his high horse and have a piece of humble pie. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemies dog to him. What a joke. His bed side manner was a -5. I work with doctors at my job. I would be embarrassed to call this guy a co-worker. Does he read these reviews? He is a 2 star doctor. What a shame!

Had an appointment schedule out 6 weeks, received a call from the office 2 weeks early to move up my appointment, I thought wow in early nice, not so I then got a call and they changed the time of the appointment but still was earlier than previous appointment, received a third call and that was to rescheduled a month after the ordinal appointment, so I have waited almost 3 months.

He told my husband, his pain was all in her head, even though he had three back surgeries, failed back syndrome, herniated disks, & stenosis, told her the government is going to take all her medicine away then what is she going to do? He said pain is in his head.

The Doctor is worthless...I have RLS and this idiot wanted to put me on antidepresion medication. Ah that makes RLS about 100 times worse. When in waiting room an elderly lady was crying in pain and complaining that the doctor would only give her minimal medicine for her pain. He gives me the impression that he wants under medicated people who are in real pain. Personality wise he is more arrogant than your typical baptist minister. If your in pain and you want treatment where you are pain free i would suggest you go somewhere else. Unless you think you can talk yourself out of pain by talking to a therapist....Give this DOC a zero star.

He shows no faith in his patients; is FAR from empathy and needs a personality transplant-misdiagnosis stenois is AND scoliosis REALLY? Puts the Duh in dumb!! STAY AWAY!!
