Dr. Gary Steven Mackman, MD

Dr. Gary Mackman, a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship trained corneal, refractive, and cataract surgeon, has practiced in the valley for over 25 years. Dr. Mackman received his B.S., M.D., and residency training at the University of Wisconsin. Following residency, he completed a cornea fellowship at the University of Florida. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a member of the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and a member of the Castroviejo Cornea Society. Dr. Mackman is past president of the Phoenix Ophthalmological Society and has helped thousands over the years being named a Top Doc in both local and national magazines. Dr. Mackman has given lectures, presented exhibits, and taught courses at major ophthalmology conventions. He has also published mumerous articles in many of the major journals on eye disease and surgery. Dr M and his wife of over 35 yrs enjoy visiting their grown children and caring for their seven rescued pets. Dr. Mackman also takes pleasure in combining photography and world travel.
