Horrible sexist berating man. Tries to get his way by intimidating people. Nothing but a manchild with no respect for anyone

Ask for documentation of a treatment plan and they will tell you it’s against their policy. Typical wait time is growing in time. Expect the time he will be available to be 4 hours later than your scheduled appointment. He expects you to always make an exception to his availability and has no respect that you have other commitments when he decides 4 hours past your appointment he can see you. There is no transparency of you health care. He is always stating things as facts that are incorrect. They are figments of his imagination. There is a member of the staff that exceeds all expectations. Her name is Michelle. The one named Tisha, stay away from. Your diagnosis will continually change. You will never be given access to your full medical information. “That’s their policy.” Dr. Newsom is in Business first and foremost. I asked wouldn’t be great if all people are well and healthy and enjoy life to the fullest. His response was no, because he would be out of a job. See… him, if his way is the type of health care partnership you want. Otherwise, don’t bother. You deserve better. We all do! Take care of you first. Don’t let them give you the excuse, He’s the doctor. Seek out a holistic medical provider that treats you as an individual and not an illness. Trust yourself.

Stay away from newsom. newsom uses ego and observation to make a diagnosis instead of proper diagnostic procedures. He cannot tell the difference between non-genetic Reactive Attachment Disorder / ADHD and genetic Bipolar Disorder / ADHD. No genetic testing was done that could tell the difference. I have permanent damage from a wrong diagnosis and a wrong prescription.

I tryed to see my mom under his care after she attempted suicide and he would not let me see her

Dr. Newsom is a wonderful Psychiatrist who actually listened to my issues and helped me conquer them. My depression has gotten better overtime due to his caring guidance and I now live a much better life. Thank you Dr. Newsom. 5 stars.

I questioned the dosage of various medications he has prescribed for my petite Mom who has dementia. I finally called various pharmacys and looked on line at the drug sites.....prescribed at mimimum, DOUBLE what my Mom should have been taking.

DON'T PRESCRIBE ANY MORE MEDICATIONS WITH WHICH CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE!

DO NOT RECOMMEND MEDICATIONS THAT CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE! I HAVE SPENT AND WILL SPEND THE REST OF MY LIFE WITH A PERMANENT CONDITION CAUSED BY A MEDICATION YOU PRESCRIBED. YOUR INITIAL DIAGNOSIS MAY NOT HAVE CORRECT IN THE FIRST PLACE. LEARN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ATTACHMENT DISORDER AND BIPOLAR DISORDER. DON'T DO THIS TO ANYONE ELSE!

I have been followed by psychiatrists since the age of six. This man has made more progress with me in 3 years than I have made in a lifetime. A very well rounded, up to date, educated man. For the first time in my life, I feel like I have the best doctor I can get!!
