Was referred here by my dentist to have my daughter's wisdom teeth removed as an in-network provider. Charges on the treatment plan were not clearly defined. Knowing that the charges were going to be submitted to Delta dental, I wasn't overly concerned initially and paid the bill. When I received the explanation of benefits back from dental they are missing for significant charges. The office manager then told me those charges were medical expenses and they can't be billed to Delta dental. I am a licensed insurance agent and understand claims and billing. At no time was this disclosed to me that these charges would not be submitted to Delta dental. In addition, I am concerned that the additional charges for the wisdom teeth were used to pass the bill as the procedures listed are already part of wisdom teeth removal. When I confronted the office manager, she became defensive immediately and told me she was in the middle of something and try to walk away from me. This has no reflection… on the doctor skills, but I believe they are utilizing unethical billing methods in conjunction with confusing language/missing information on the treatment plan that you were given. Beware of going to this practice. I have called and emailed to have the owner/doctor of this practice to contact me and to have my daughter's medical records sent to me. I have never received any response.

I chose the best oral surgeon when I chose Dr Gary Raska. He is, by far, the best in Sarasota! He has a great disposition, is friendly, and has a sense of humor. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything he was going to do before, during, and after the dental implant procedure. He made me feel very comfortable during the procedure and followed up with me the day after my surgery to ensure I was feeling fine. He prescribed an antibiotic for a few days following the surgery. I never experienced any pain after the procedure and never needed any medication for pain. It was an amazing experience. His staff is friendly, professional, and organized and always made me feel welcome. His office is centrally located and spotlessly clean. I love his messaging system - you are able to get automatic text messages as reminders for all your appointments. Dr. Raska removed 2 impacted wisdom teeth and took all care and steadiness so that any nerves or sinus was affected. Great job by staff , office superbly clean and comfortable.

No pain promised- and no pain delivered. The office of Dr. Raska is staffed by professionals, who are knowledgeable, caring and provide excellent patient care. There was very little to no pain involved in my dental implant surgery, recovery time was quick and I returned to my normal routine by the next day. I would highly recommend anyone seeking dental implants to visit the office of Dr. Raska.

I finally found an Oral Surgeon and Staff that actually exceeded all expectations and provided PAIN FREE, compassionte, perfect treatment. The facility is in a great location, modern and CLEAN! The Staff is very attentive and provides awesome care. Dr. Raska provided THE BEST Dental treatment I've ever experienced. Look no further!

I am very fearful of dentists. Dr. Raska and his staff made my bone graft before implant procedure a good experience. I would highly recommend them if you need to have oral surgery completed.
