Dr. Gary Shearer has the following 1 specialty
- Family Medicine
A family practitioner is a doctor who specializes in caring for people of all ages, at all stages of life. Rather than focusing on the treatment of one disease or patient population, family practitioners are often the doctors that people see for their everyday ailments, like cold and flu or respiratory infections, and health screenings. When necessary, family practitioners will provide referrals for conditions that require the expertise of another specialist.
The doctors may also provide physicals, inoculations, prenatal care, treat chronic diseases, like diabetes and asthma, and provide advice on disease prevention.

Dr Gary Shearer was a wonderful Dr. I knew him as my employer for 9 yrs back in the 80's and 90's. He saved so many lives with his thorough testing and dedication to his patients. He had some patients for 30 and 40 years ! He had great compassion for job and his patients. In 05 I was in a bad accident which resulted in a back injury that required surgery and other injuries that I live with everyday. I couldn't have made it thru the worst days of my life without Dr Sheared. His concern, ccompassion and wonderful care that he gave me will always be appreciated more than words can express. I wish all of his patients could have been at his hearing to back him up on what a great Dr he was. There are hundreds of us compared to the 10 who brought their own demise. Those who chose to abuse their medications and not care about the outcome. I wish he knew how loved he was. I will always be so greatfull to you Dr Shearer. Miss seeing you walk in and hearing you say Hey Whats Going On ? RIP Dr Shearerâ¥
May you find some rest and peace Doc , I am so sorry for what these idiots done to such a great and careing Doctor. He did his best to help people and it's such a shame that this could have happened to such a great man, my prayers are with his family and I pray that the people whe are responsible for this get their Just Rewards and rot in a lake of fire for taking this mans life , he spent all his time here on earth trying to help people who were hurting he gave his life for his patients, RIP Dr Gary Shearer, you are truly missed.
Dr.Shearer was mine and my husband's Dr for about 15 yrs plus several of my family members. He was a great caring compassionate Dr who took the time to talk to his patients and really listen to them. And get them the help and answers they were looking for. I've truly missed him since they shut him down and have wondered many times how he was doing. Now I know but not what I wanted to know. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. I want them to know despite all negative things being said about him he was a great man and Dr who we will greatly miss.
Dr. Shearer actually took time to listen to you, and was able to diagnose my problem(s) when other physicians in Dayton, Ohio, and Cincinnati, were NOT able to figure out what was going on. He is a true GEM....a doctor who cared about his patients. Every time I waited in the waiting room, I saw patients come in all distorted because of surgeons who crippled their back patients, misc. I truly miss that man!!!
