Dr. Gary Spiegelman, MD

I am supposed to have colonoscopy on 12/13. I have been calling his office for 2 weeks to get my medication for my prep. I keep being told that they have messaged the nurse, and they would get back to me. 2 weeks later, no call or anything and of course no medicine for my prep. I have used Dr. Spiegelman for many years until now. I am not going to fool with his office anymore. He needs to check out who he hires including his office staff who keeps saying they are messaging the nurse and nurse who never returns calls. When they transfer you to the nurse it doesn't tell you the nurse's name it gives you an extension. Dr. Marilyn Cobb

I went to see Dr. Spiegelman after my husband had a very satisfactory experience with him. He discovered my colon cancer and immediately sought out a surgeon to remove it. I found him straight forward but compassionate at the same time. I am sure he helped to save my life!

I chose Dr. Spiegelman because of how well he took care of my mother. Then when I was his patient, I found out how wonderful his staff is as well. Organizations flow from the top down. He was great and so was his staff from beginning to end. I am not someone who often gives reviews. But in this instance I wanted to give him my very highest recommendation!

Dr. Spiegelman came recommended from several people who have only had routine colonoscopies and have has been little interaction with him. I had a more serious problem and would not recommend Dr. Spiegelman if you are diagnosed with a disorder and need follow up or continuous care. He is a very laid-back doctor. However, I am more detailed and had difficulty with his consistent tardiness (at least 45 minutes every appointment, and an hour before my colonoscopy after the nurse had gotten everything completely ready) and lack of organization and communication. I left my procedure with a lot of questions. He seemed annoyed to be my doctor at all when I came for a follow up.

He is rude and arrogant and if you ask a question, he acts like you are wasting his time and says, “I said...,” and repeats what he just said. No compassion. No sympathy. No patience. Avoid him like the plague!

Worst bedside manner I have ever seen. Time management is nonexistent. You will wait forever to see him. Shows no concern or compassion for patients problems. Worst doctor experience I have ever had.

I would not recommend Dr. Spiegelman to anyone! Staff performance was atrocious as was Dr. Spiegelman's entire attitude. I tried to call his office after my procedure and couldn't get anyone to call me back.

Very thorough follows up on your medical history easy to schedule a procedure

Voicemail full and can't leave a message at his office number. 0 follow up 0 after plan 0 explanation of diagnosis 0 diagnosis for that matter. Saw him for about 20 seconds after first procedure and not at all after second after waiting for over an hour. Would not recommend him to anyone
