Dr. Gayleen Patricia Kolaczewski, MD

I have been seeing Dr. K. about 2 1/2 years now. I moved up here from Florida and was very anxious about finding a doctor who was both competent and compassionate. Dr. K. is both of these and treats me with respect. I most appreciate that she does listen to my comments, and input. I feel as though she includes me in my overall treatment which is very different from most physicians. That she is a GI specialist as well as internal medicine is just what I needed since I have had serious esophageal surgery in the past as well as a family hx of colon cancer. I am extremely relieved to find a down to earth doctor. I have found her staff to be very friendly and helpful, as well. Hope she doesn't retire any time soon.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Kolaczewski and her staff. The first time I called to make an appointment, the staff was friendly and responsive. I was able to get in pretty quickly for a consultation for a colonoscopy, and the procedure itself was not a bad experience like I was afraid it would be. Dr. K called me herself a couple of days after the procedure to let me know my biopsy results (all clear, thankfully!). Her office is homey: dolls, knick knacks, etc. - not the offputting clinical-ness of every other doctor's office. I was immediately comfortable, and was treated so kindly and attentively by staff and the doctor. I would recommend her hands down!

Difficult to get through. I frequently call and get no answer. Unusual office hours. Office staff talks quickly. I do not hear negative comments regarding care from my clients.

I’ve been with her for 20yrs and when my 17 yr old son began experiencing GI issues there was no one else I would trust his well being to. She is kind, compassionate, understanding and truly cares about her patients. She diagnosed my son quickly and has been treating him successfully now for 2 yrs. I recommend her to anyone experiencing any GI issue that wants a Dr whose bottom line is making the patient healthy and feel better.

I have seen Dr. Gayleen Kolaczewski several times now over the last year + and she is excellent at her profession. She has helped me very much and is always willing to see me and offer help. She is very friendly and professional at the same time. I consider myself very fortunate to be seeing her for my problems. I would recommend her to anyone that needs a doctor in her profession. She will see me right away and I am never rushed at my appointments. Her receptionist, Ruth, is also excellent with me. It is always a pleasure to see and talk to her. She is always friendly and helpful, even when I call 3 times in one day to get information I misplaced. These days it is so nice to find a doctor like her and a receptionist that cares as well. When I am treated above and beyond what I usually get, I would like people to know, that is why I am rating them, for other peoples benefit.... Thank You Both!!

I have been seeing Dr. Kolaczewski for five years. She is a great doctor! She is caring and makes me feel that I am the only patient she has when I have an appointment with her. She is understanding and patient as I try to explain my symptoms. She is the best.

Dr. Kolaczewski is one of the best doctors in the area. She is kind, caring, gentle and excellent at diagnosing the health issues of her patients. She is simply the best!
