One Star

Dr. Myers ordered every test in the book, including a test for a clotting disease only those in their 30s get -- and I am well past that age! If you goal is to spend money, see Dr. Myers. If your goal is good cardiac health, see someone else.

Doctor's Response

Clotting diseases are not specific to any age factor. Clotting diseases are part of your genetic makeup - and can affect many organs and systems including heart disease and peripheral vascular disease. I believe it is the job of a thorough physician to look at all of the factors that influence a disease state. Often good cardiac health and treatment involve looking at these factors and putting the entire picture together for a plan of regression of atherosclerosis and prevention in the future.

Happy place, great care.

Dr Myers and his staff have taken excellent care of my husband. We were laughing so hard talking to other patients in the waiting room that we almost missed Dawn calling the last time we were in. His office is a very happy place to be in.

Five Stars

I was referred to Dr. Myers by my primary care physician. Although I waited in the office for a little while to see him - it was worth the wait. Dr. Myers spends all the time he needs with you to discuss your problems and puts together a plan I understood and was comfortable with. His staff was courteous and pleasant. The office is beautiful and clean.

More about Dr. Gene E Myers

After having spent almost 40 years practicing Cardiology - I still have the passion and enthusiasm for medicine as I did when I began my career. Nearly all cardiovascular specialists are in agreement that atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) is not a disease of aging. Once it occurs in an individual, there is a strong tendency for it to progress unless the process is interrupted. Our objective is to not only find out what the cause of a patient's poor health is through comprehensive testing, but focus them on a treatment program that will successfully cause regression. I've dedicated my career to developing these long-term treatment programs, and for many, they have made the difference in living a healthy, vigorous life. I love what I do, I love helping the patients, and I love solving the puzzles.
