Dr. Gene Yu, DO

Gave me three different diagnosis and at the end, told me he never gave them to me... even after I showed him in writing that he did. He sent me to have a bone marrow biopsy. I showed up and was on the table while sedation medication was pouring through my IV. It turns out that Dr. Yu forgot to mention on the referral, what testing had to be done after they got the marrow sample. So as the hospital got a hold of him, he said that he didn't know and that the procedure needed to be cancelled. One of his specialties is chronic pain. He states in his bio that he treats fibromyalgia, which is one of my issues, but he is sending me to a Pain Clinic and refusing to treat me. I can't believe that he has been practicing for more than 9 years. He has lost my trust and cost me a lot of painful time (7 months worth) and he has done nothing but frustrate my situation.

This doctor is terrible. He is more concerned with what he wants to do to the patient and does not take into consideration other health issues that a patient has. If you don't follow his advice to the T he makes it look in his reports that you aren't willing to get treatment. Stay away.
