Dr. Genevieve Neal-Perry

I went to see Dr. Neal-Perry for fertility care. She was extremely thoughtful in her discussion. She was honest in her assessment of my condition and she help me and my partner make the best decision for us. We are now pregnant after 5 years of infertility. The only complaint that I have is that we did have to wait to see on her on most visits. But with that said we never felt rushed. We recommend her without any reservations.

I was recently diagnosed with cancer and was told that I would lose my fertility. After urging from a friend and my cancer doctor I met with Dr. Neal-Perry to talk about what to do about my future fertility. I was super anxious and afraid of what I would learn and almost cancelled the appointment. I went to the appointment with my partner expecting the absolute worse. Dr. Neal-Perry and her staff made such a difference for me. She and her staff were so incredibly caring and committed to helping me understand my options. I left the office feeling so relieved and safe in knowing that I had real options and that I had a healthcare team that would help me see the light at the end of the tunnel. They gave me hope for a future that I thought I lost.

Dr. Neal-Perry was thorough and kind. She helped me work through problems that I thought would be a huge stumbling block. I really appreciated her staff and the time that she spent with me so that we could work through my issues. I know I made her late to the next patient but she never made me feel like I had to hurry up. It made such a difference for me and my husband.

I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and was absolutely devastated. My oncologist referred me to Dr. Neal-Perry to talk about my fertility. I almost cancelled the visit because I just could not think about much more than my breast cancer diagnosis. She was so incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. She patiently walked through all of our options and the various effects that my treatment would have on my fertility and sexual life-there were things that she addressed that I did not think about. She even called me the next day to make sure that all of my questions were answered the previous day and to make sure that I understood the next steps of my care. I am so glad that I kept my appointment and I am thankful to have doctors like Dr. Neal-Perry in my life who are committed to taking care of people like me.

I was referred to Dr. Perry by a friend who had a good experience with her. I was super anxious because my partner and I have been trying to get pregnant for the last 2 years-our family and friends have been stressing us out big time. Dr. Perry was patient and attentive to our concerns. Her office staff was equally great. We left her office with a clear plan and with a sense of optimism. Just awesome!

On a recommendation from a friend I went to see Dr. Neal-Perry after having four miscarriages. I had previously been to two other doctors and did not find any answers. I was just told to undergo IVF with genetic testing. I saw Dr. Neal-Perry and she did a thorough work up and that found that I had scar tissue in the uterus. She performed the surgery and we are now 15 weeks pregnant! This is the farthest that we have made it through a pregnancy and we are finally starting to tell our family and friends. We are anxious but so so very thankful.

Dr. Neal-Perry was great! She was engaged throughout our entire visit and took the time to verify my medical history. It was a good thing too because I had forgot to tell her certain things that could affect my care! I left her office feeling positive about my future and excited for the next steps of my are plan. I would not hesitate to refer her to a friend or a family member.

I was very nervous about the visit but she helped me feel comfortable. Dr. Neal-Perry took her time to answer all of my questions and reviewed my medical history with me in great detail. She was honest with her assessment and very thorough with the information that applied to my situation. and support staff awesome. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!.

I was really hopeful to see Doctor Neal-Perry. The office was 5 minutes away from my work. The office staff was professional. The appointment was started on time by the medical assistant. I was prepared and filled out about an hour worth of paperwork that I feel wasn’t really looked at throughly. I saw the doctor about 20 minutes into my start time. Then after we reviewed my info (had to repeat things in my paperwork 2-3 times) about 10 minutes in Dr. Neal-Perry gave me no real plan and said lets do an ultrasound. She proceeded to close the folder as if she was done with me. My new client appointment was supposed to be an hour. It was as if she was in a hurry to get me out of the office. I said I have questions. As I began to ask my questions she sat at the table with her hand leaning on her cheek holding her head up as if she was board and I was an inconvience to her. I felt like I was leading the appointment. The questions I asked she answered kind of short and rudly responded. All… she did was pull up charts that doesn’t relate to my age. I can find these online. Then I said, “can you please use my scenario to explain the route I should take” she still left me hanging. While I know fertility can be a touchy subject and everyone’s body is different, I was paying $375 out of pocket to get some answers and I told her from the beginning I want honesty and don’t worry about offending me. She then wanted me to schedule another appointment to put a plan in place. I said, isn’t that what this appointment was for? She then put in the ultrasound order to check my follicle count and I am the one who recommended coming back for that after I am on the fertility meds to see if they are working. It didn’t make sense for me to have the ultrasound during this appointment. She agreed. But not sure why I had to come up with that when she is the expert. It seems like just more money to waste. I left confused and frustrated with no recommendations for my situation. Upon leaving the assistant mentioned she is only in the office two times a week and I would probably see other doctors. Honestly that was the best news I heard. But for some that may be a surprise if you only want to work with her. I would not waste your money. I am sure she is knowledgeable if you ask the right questions but I dont feel it should be up to me to have to pull answers out. I did not feel any regard for me as an individual. The journey is already tough I wish doctors would understand this. I hope this helps when you consider Dr. Neal-Perry. Because once you start with a clinic it isn’t an easy process to switch both financially and emotionally.
