My body doesn’t do well with steroid shots. I could not eat drink nothing for a couple days it’s hard to swallow my own spit .Than all the experience of years he have and want to do what he want to do. I believe some where in them forthy two years of experiences he just started making his own judgments on people caring about certain people who he chooses not to be worthy of his time. Frothy two years of doing what he want to do caring for who he want to care for. Dr Smith puts it like you have to be worthy in his eyes to receive the good medicine and services.

They not letting me type everything i want to say on here. Dr smith was giggling like i was a joke and he told me if i don’t want a steroid shot in my behind that mean i’m not hurting badly. I told him my body depends do well with steroid shots. My throat was hurting so badly i was crying. I could swallow eat nothing for 5 days i had to call off from work. He didn’t want to give me no pain medicine i was hurting so badly all he gave me was Ibuprofen. Everyone that wear a doctor uniform or nurse uniform doesn’t deserve to wear it. I believe if it was Dr smith family member or someone he cares for or himself he would have gave himself the best medicine to ease the pain.

After a hard fall onto my chin, I waited a day & a half before going to my primary care doctor. I was told by his staff to go to the ER. I went to West Jefferson as it was next door to my primary care doctor’s office. After waiting MANY hours, I was finally seen. Dr. Smith’s manner was brusque and dismissive. After a diagnostic procedure performed by ER staff, I was left to wait again, more than an hour . Dr. Smith gave me 2 prescriptions & sent me on my way. The pharmacy will not fill one of the prescriptions as “ Dr. Smith is NOT LICENSED TO PRESCRIBE THIS MEDICATION IN LOUISIANA”. Apparently his DEA license is only valid in Oregon. But he is practicing at a LCMC hospital in Marrero, Louisiana. This is unacceptable but is indicative of the care you will receive here.

Under the stress of the uncertainty of the Corona Virus we had unfortunate opportunity to have Dr Smith as my mothers ER doctor. Before one test was administered Dr Smith comes into the room waving his arms insisting that we and everyone else was over reacting, and had it not been for the lowered standards for testing he would have sent my mother home. After being in West Jefferson’s ER my mother was tested, admitted and was found to be a positive carrier of the Corona virus. He was ridiculously unprofessional.
