Dr. George Alfred Monroe, MD

Our son saw Monroe, MD. for 19 yrs. Yes that's right. From with-in minutes after being born Monroe was there. My wife a VERY high risk patient with an artificial heart valve and not knowing if our son had heart issues he was right there. Of course no more children. She was the first to have a child at MCD with a artificial heart valve so no detail was left undone. Our son is 39 and all is well. Monroe exemplifies good people skills and willing to listen. Many of the doctors at MCD their children see him. That's says a lot about him putting your trust in someone else's hand. A great man ! We still catch him in the halls at MCD and he speaks to us to this day. It was a difficult day when Monroe MD said to Matthew its time you see a grown-ups doctors so he did. He saw our internal medicine doctor.
