Dr Abernathy was a wonderful dr. He passed in Feb 2022. My low rating is because of the fact that since his passing, I and many others are not longer able to obtain our medical records from the office. It has been months and am unable to reach anyone from the office which is now closed, no one at the state has any idea where said records are located.

I find Nowadays it's very hard to find a Experience Doctor who takes their time in Explaining Your Health Situation to You until You thoroughly Understand...and doesn't treat you like a number in the waiting room.....and rushes you out.... Dr Abernathy DOES take his time to be sure You Do Understand Everything....He Cares about his Patients....Your Not Just a Number.......He makes you Feel Comfortable.....and is truly Concerned about your Health.....I find him Trustworthy.......He also will help you and direct you to another doctor If there is a puzzling health problem your not sure about... The Whole Staff makes you Feel like Family......Couldn't ask for a Better Doctor....he gets more than 5 stars from Me...

Dr. Abernathy has a big Heart, something all cardiologist should have, it was very difficult for me to find a heart Dr. who was not arrogant and demeaning. Well I found the one! Dr. Abernathy is a wonderful man, very easy to talk to, takes time to explain things to you in layman's terms. If you are not happy w/your cardiologist this is the Dr. for you. My entire experience from making my appt. to checking out was wonderful. Office staff very nice and very professional! I have to say this is the first time I have ever left a Dr.s office happy, and singing! I only wish I had found him 7yrs. ago...
