Dr. George Raymond Cybulski, MD

I'm glad I didn't have surgery with this dr. He discharge me because of my insurance and said he couldn't wait for my insurance to approve surgery. I guess God was watching oit for me after reading other patients experience with him. He wouldn't help me any even on pain killers medication that actually work for me. I'm still struggling with chronic back pain and now both my knees are also hurting alot. I need a good caring physician and pcp.

Had L4L5 procedure. Ended up with not being able to straighten upper body and years of pain that has been so severe, that I went to Rehab Institute of Chicago 5 days wk/8 hrs a day, Mayo Clinic, & Rush for help. I was a high functioning endurance athlete, who can no longer compete after the surgery. Dr. Cybulski had zero answers for me & no help whatsoever. Unfortunately I found out later that I 2 other people I know had same procedure with very similar outcomes. I also had to leave my company I had been with for 13 years to recover and it was a job I loved. There are too many capable Physicians out there who offer much better care. My experience was life changing and just plain awful.

Couldn't ask for a better surgeon very polite. Very to the point and covered all details very pleased looking forward actually to seeing him in the future for other problems. that he at the time explained and discussed with me that will have to be taken care of. Wouldn't go to anyone else very pleased!!!!

I have been under Dr Cybulski's care since 1993. At which time he did a very complex surgery on me. You could not ask for a more caring and compassionate doctor. He is always willing to sit with you and answer any questions you have. And he is aways willing to work with the patient to put any fears you may have to rest. Most people by now have to have some part or all of the surgery I had redone. I haven't and I put it completely on to the fact that I had the doctors I had at the time.

I highly recommend DO NOT see this doctor for your medical needs. He is disrespectful, not professional and careless. I wasted my working day to get to his office for scheduled visit just to find out that the doctor has already left. And there was no apology from him , obviously. His assistant was â??replacingâ?? him and didnâ??t even mention to me that doctor is not in the office until I asked. The doctor cannot be a good doctor if he cares so little about his patients even if he knows how to perform surgery. The Northwestern affiliation with this doctor is a shame for Northwestern Medicine.

I had neck surgery done by a Dr. Rabin who made a complete mess of things so much so that 1 week after my neck collar was removed I went into severe neck pain and developed "claw hand". Rabin of course said it was not due to the surgery but a nerve in my elbow. I went to another doctor, Dr. Ross, who indicated that the cause of my problem was not in my elbow but with the original surgery. A friend recommended Dr. Cybulski who, when I explained my condition, saw me immediately. Two day later I was scheduled for surgery and now 18 years later have been pain free and have full use of my hand. I have over the last 18 years, and will continue to recommended Dr. Cybulski to anyone I know who might need his matchless talent. Even though I now live in Atlanta I would travel to Chicago should I ever have the need for a neurological surgeon. He is the best there is!!!

I am worse than when I started. No follow up, nurse assistants just throw pain medications at you. Doctor can not be bothered he is always in a clinic. I knew immediately after surgery something was wrong with my hand. Diane is rude, multiple times telling her I wanted to talk to the surgeon, she refused. Now, a second opinion and another surgery. I was better off before the surgery. My pain is intolerable.

I feel blessed with the success of Dr. Cybulski ' s surgeries. He is the very best and so patient and compassionate!
