Dr George Goldfarb, MD

I have been with Dr G for a number of years. During one routine visit he discovered that I may have a problem and refereed me to the proper Physician. . Yes he was right and if it If weren't for his thoroughness I wouldn't be here today

Definitely in the wrong line of work. I was very ill in hospital. He never asked how I felt but on the 3rd day of being in hospital he announced he was sending me home. I told him I was not able to even sit up and his reply was he would send physical therapy in to get me up. Sent me home on the wrong meds and I had to be readmitted a week later for nearly a week and was in kidney failure. He never even looked at my labs the day he sent me home and they were available hours before he came to visit. I went to Yale to see nephrologist and they asked me why I was released on that 3rd day? Incompetent and gross negligence. I had to share to warn other potential patients.

I wish I can give zero stars! Was looking for a new local doctor in the area. I had to wait 2 hours for my scheduled new patient physical. I received no follow up call after my lab results came in I had to call myself, BTW I was put on hold for ten minutes while I called to ask about my results. I do not recommend very messy and sloppy practice!

My mother was in the care of this “doctor” for over a month at St. Vincents. While all of her doctors made contact with me he never reached out. Fortunately I was kept up by actual professionals and I wax present at the hospital. I finally heard something from him the day he put in for her discharge to rehab with no notice to me. I was contacted by a discharge planner saying it was going to happen the same day. I was told by two different hospital employees he “drops the ball” and does not communicate properly. I hope he is reprimanded appropriately and this added stress is not experienced by another family. Ever.

Rude like I have never expierenced, he asks a question then speaks over your answer. I had to leave.

I have been a patient of Dr. Goldfarb for 4 years and have found him to be a concerned and caring individual and a talented physician. After not having a doctor for many years I consider myself fortunate to have someone of Dr. Goldfarb's caliber in my corner.

I was kept on a diuretic for over 5 years with no monitoring or adjustment - the only constant in life is change - which caused me all kinds of problems, gout and kidney stones which he ignored even after multiple trips to the emergency room.

Very Disappointed. Went there and she couldn't take me in.

Slipshod rushed appointment, inadequate treatment, no follow up ,

Geez. I don't know where all these negative and nasty reviews are emanating from, but my mother has always received only the best of care from Dr. Goldfarb. He is always responsive to and patient with any questions we might have and has NEVER been rude, arrogant or dismissive in any way, as some other reviewers seem to have found him. Also, whenever I have called on behalf of my mother with any questions, he always gets back to me by the end of the business day. His staff is friendly and courteous, as well. My only complaint is that we often wait a looong time in his waiting room for our scheduled appointment â?¦ but, then, I don't know many doctors who are regularly on time. If that's the worst I can say, I think that Dr. Goldfarb and his staff are doing pretty darned well. Oh - and we LOVE his sense of humor :).
