Dr. George Juan, MD

Dr. Juan is personable, clear and patient with elderly patients. He has been a Godsend for my mother, who is hard of hearing, opinionated, and talkative. After rejecting and refusing to see her previous pulmonologist despite serious lung disease, she seems comfortable with Dr. Juan. Also, Dr. Juan has surrounded himself with excellent staff. In particular, one of his medical assistants, Jina, has been very friendly and attentive, and in fact quickly picked up that the oxygen regulator on our portable tanks was faulty!

Dr. Juan has demonstrated great empathy towards me and has been thorough in his examination, diagnosis and treatment of my ailment. I feel confident in his professional knowledge and his ability to provide competent healthcare in his specialty. He also has a very professional staff that goes the extra mile to accommodate appointment scheduling and support services for me. In this regard, I would like to highlight his staff member Giana Acosta, who has exemplified great professionalism and excellent support service in all her interaction with me on the telephone as well as in person during my appointment visits at the clinic

I met Dr. Juan in the ER. I was in medical and emotional distress. His diagnosis may have been life saving. His personal attention to both me and my wife was exemplary. We were listened to, communicated with, and felt comfort and confidence in his care. I'm almost 75 and have had too many medical emergencies, treatments and operations. So I've interacted with many different physicians, in lots of specialties and various locations. Some docs were excellent while others were good to poor. What separates Dr Juan from the other excellent physicians is his humanity. He is quite simply my all time favorite Doc.

Dr George Juan intently listens to all of my concerns and issues I have involving my lungs. He has given me very sound advice and excellent treatment for the past 2 1/2 years. How I met him was by chance as he was on service for the hospital when I had to be admitted to the internal care unit which was a frightening and new experience for me. He was quick to calm my fears with what was going on with my shortness of breath. I implicitly trust him with not only my lungs but my life. I would highly recommend him to family and friends alike!

I met Dr Juan while hospitalized in John Muir hospital in Walnut Creek. I was having a very difficult time breathing so Dr Juan was assigned to me. He carefully looked over my case ordered more extensive testing and within a very reasonable amount of time he gave me a correct diagnosis. He ordered the correct long term treatment for me. Thankfully Dr Juan is a practicing pulmonologist outside of the hospital in private practice. I made a follow up appointment with Dr Juan and shockingly, he remembered treating me in the hospital! He must see hundreds of patients a week and for him to remember my case and me really impressed me! He takes all the necessary time to listen to my chief complaints and also explains everything thoroughly. I completely wholeheartedly trust Dr Juan with my life!

Dr. Juan is an excellent provider. He will take the extra steps needed to figure out what is causing breathing issues.

Dr. Juan takes as much time that is needed to explain all issues with patients. He is very compassionate and also empathetic which are two of the finest qualities a doctor can have.
