saved my life!!!

I've been seeing Dr Manger for 22 years. He put me at ease from the first moment I met him. Great sense of humor. Yet knows when to be serious and compassionate. He's performed all my surgeries. Including my C-Sections. After suffering with lots of female issues (PCOS, Adenomyosis, and more) it was finally time to have a hysterectomy. He informs you. Listens to your concerns. And allows you to make an educated decision in your care. I hope he never completely retires. He's a one of a kind.

Dr. Manger examined, then ordered a test to rule out a problem. I will definitely make him my regular gyn specialist.

I went into the office for having missed periods. In February, I had Mirena inserted, and I then had it removed in August. I immediately started taking Beyaz. I have not had a period since May; not even on the Beyaz. I do not feel this is normal. Dr. Manger said that, sure, this is normal. He also was not happy with my decision to have Mirena removed. I felt like I was being judged. He also made a comment about my depression--"What do you have to be depressed about? You're young, pretty..." To me, that's making light of depression. Looks and age have nothing to do with depression. Also, he said that I was fine, and I had "hit the trifecta," with not having periods. He said that I could switch birth controls if I WANTED to have periods. What I came in wanting to know was WHY I was not having periods--not to see if someone could MAKE me have one. I will be visited my usual OB/GYN in Chambersburg this Friday to get some real answers. This was not sufficient for me.
