I haven't seen Dr. Scarmon in years, but I wish all doctors were as kind, knowledgeable and thorough as he. My husband and I have not found anyone comparable to Dr. Scarmon in our new home town.

My 10 month old had measles & dr tried to say ear infection so to avoid contact with CDC. Blood test was done and dr blocked results. Had a blood test ordered by another dr, and sure enough, measles! ! My baby could have died because of this dr's laziness!

Doesn't deserve any stars! Doctor Scarmon is rude, mean, doesn't listen to patient requests or concerns. Forced me to come in for a prescription refill when I just came in and saw him for the same prescription. Made me extremely uncomfortable. Office staff doesn't help either and lies for him.

I normally donâ??t write reviews but I had to spend some on this one. Scarmon is simply a doctor going through the motions before he retires. He rushes through his consultations as though youâ??re wasting his time. But above all, my biggest complaint is his horrible bedside manner. It appears his has a short temper and in my opinion he should retire and do us all a favor. Stay away from this guy unless you enjoy being treated poorly.

I have moved recently and needed refills on my prescriptions. They had given my pharmacy an incorrect fax number to send it to, then the staff was very rude when I had called repeatedly to say it was not filled. I finally was able to give my pharmacy the correct fax number and again the rather rude staff told me they had sent it back this morning. This all took almost 2 WEEKS to settle. I would not recommend they to anyone who needs help!!!!

Bedside manner all depends on his mood. Length of office visit 5 minutes. Doesn't do any physical exam. Hasn't thought of preventative medicine. This is a short list of his good points.

I just switched to an HMO and had to find a primary care physician and chose Dr. Scarmon. I think he does a great job of seeing you as quickly as possible. Meets my needs just fine. Staff has done great on follow ups and getting referrals. A little blunt, but that's what I want from a doctor.
