Dr. George Ansel Toledo, MD

Dr.Toledo is highly offensive and rude . I went in for a rhinoplasty consultation and he immediately started making comments about my lips telling me how huge they were and out of proportion to my face , I voiced my concern on wanting the appearance of my nose to be smaller as it isn’t bad natural and I mentioned how I am insecure with the size of it and he told me that was more a physiological issue I needed resolved . He blatantly told me he couldn’t edit the after photo much to show a difference bc that would take 45 minutes that he doesn’t have nor feel like doing bc he has other people to get to and he just isn’t going to do that. As I demonstrated my areas of concern he told me if I wanted a fake nose to look for a different surgeon bc I am a Latina which he assumed due to my marital last name , and continued to tell me 3 more times I am a Latina my skin is thick and oil and I have acne prone skill there isn’t much he could do & that the photos of reference I showed him were white women and they have paper thin skin and I don’t bc I’m a Latina and grabbed my shoulder and was shoving me out of the room before I could grab my purse and told me to find a different surgeon bc he couldn’t help me . I broke down in tears feeling unheard , neglected as a potential client and just down right inhumane on his end to make me feel so different based off of my physical appearance . I stated to him my lips were currently very swollen which had nothing to do with my consultation to begin with but he didn’t hesitate to ensure his opinions were heard very clearly not only about my skin type , lips and desires but continued to offend me telling me as we were walking down the hall way that he would also do me the favor and not charge the consultation as if I couldn’t afford it . Sadly I am heart broken , now more so ever confused about the reviews he has stating great things about him which I saw today are not true . Not only do I feel discriminated and judged but offended . I was looking forward to this consultation , ready to schedule my rhinoplasty not knowing this was what I was going to be faced with the day of today . I’d give 0 stars if possible . I highly do not recommend someone so rude and discriminatory to anyone .

Dr. Toledo performed rhinoplasty and breast augmentation last month. I LOVE my results. I only wish I did it earlier. My breasts are just the right size- not too big, not too small. They fit my athletic frame perfectly. Before surgery my nose had a big hump and pointed down when I smiled. Now multiple people tell me I look like Halle Berry. What a compliment! Dr. Toledo is the best and his staff is very caring. Silvia, Esther, and Katie walked me through the entire process and made it so easy for me. I’ll be ready for my facelift is a few years and won’t consider using any other plastic surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Toledo.

I had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Toledo 2 weeks ago and I love my results. The entire process from consultation to surgery was very easy. My mom even said she was amazed at how caring the entire staff is. Dr. Toledo is very confident and that made me feel good about choosing him. I saw multiple doctors in Dallas/Fort Worth and Dr. Toledo is the only one who addressed my exact concerns about surgery. He showed me what to expect by using computer imaging and after 2 weeks my nose pretty much looks exactly like the imaging. The surgery was painless, I just had swelling in my nose that feels like nasal congestion for a couple of days after surgery. I had surgery on Thursday and went back to work on Monday. Dr. Toledo’s staff spent a lot of time answering my questions and walked me through what to expect. I am so thankful my family doctor referred me to Dr. Toledo. After years if hating my nose, I now love it. I highly recommend Dr. Toledo.

I am currently 13 months post op from my rhinoplasty and I waited this long to post a full review to make sure that my swelling has fully gone down to make sure that I haven’t been fully over blowing my reaction - which Dr. Toledo and his staff had made me feel like I was. But Let me say my entire experience at Toledos had been a rollercoaster from the moment I walked in. From the moment I first walked into Toledos office back in 2020 he seemed annoyed with me being there to discuss my rhinoplasty. I was eager to discuss my rhinoplasty as I had saved years to get one and he seemed he didn't have the time of day - mind you the office was empty. In regards to my actually nose and the concerns I had he was very dismissive and said that fixing my bridge would fix all other issues I had and that he wasn’t going to make me loo like Michael Jackson because if his patients walked around with bad noses they’d make him look bad. This for some reason made me feel better about his craftsmanship…? The biggest sell was that he could get me in the following week for my rhinoplasty and because I had waited so long and this kind of turn around was un heard of I jumped. But this is where things turned. The day of surgery after I handed off the check of almost $9000 Toledo comes in and without skipping a beat begins complaining about his two surgeries before me and how they were “a mexican” and “a black” and how their thick skin was difficult and that he was happy to see me with “nice normal skin.” Now, me ( a latino male) sitting there became a little nervous. The next part that I was confused by which I should’ve asked about earlier is that he charges an out patient fee when he performs surgery in house in what looks like a kitchen in the back. But I digress… Next, I was told to strip shirtless inform of his staff and walk down the hall and onto the operating table. I was uncomfortable the entire time as 1. it was freezing and 2. it was just a very uncomfortable experience. But I had already paid and come this far so I figured theres no turning back now. When I woke up and got home and finally got a chance to look at myself in the mirror i noticed stitches around my nostrils and also that my cast was crooked. I brought it up and he said that he did perform a nostril reduction and that my cast was set straight. I was confused and immediately worried because I didn't want the scars and we had agreed prior that we were not going to go anything besides straightening and hump reduction. When I returned to his office a week later he very forcibly removed the cast and I didn’t yell or scream but obviously showed signs of pain and his response was “ "I do this to little girls all the time, you're fine.” His bed side manner is non existent. At 2 and 3 months I brought up the sharpness on my bridge and the droopiness of my nose (columella) because of the nostril reduction as well as my now, totally different sized nostrils and Toledo kept blaming it on swelling. Well not that we are 1 year post op he now just says that I am “functionally” perfect and that there is nothing more he can do. I cannot breathe out of the right side of my nose properly. There is a bump on the left side of my bridge that he said was going to go away but has not. My columella hangs lower than before because of a procedure that I did not want preformed. And when I mentioned this part and how noticeably it hangs when I smile his suggestion was to get botox so my mouth doesn't move…… So now Here I am extra caution with extra anxiety searching the internet for an actually well qualified surgeon to perform a revision rhinoplasty. Believe the negative reviews. Toledo has no patience for you and only are for himself. He wants to get as many patients in and out of his office as possible. I dont know why he chose this profession if he’s going to treat his patients this way but here we are.

My 55 year old face looked like it was melting in the Texas heat. My forehead and eyes were droopy making me look tired all the time and my neck was hanging down like a turkey. Needless to say, it was time to talk about a facelift because I looked about 15 years older than I should. I have always heard Dr. Toledo’s name mentioned by ladies as the facelift king. I met with him and he recommended a face and neck lift, forehead lift and upper eyelid surgery. He also required I get medical clearance prior to surgery which I appreciated. I had my surgery in May. My recovery was quick, and I went back to work in 10 days. I had no discomfort or bruises but did have to keep ointment in my eyes for a couple of days. My results are perfect, I look like I’m forty again. My neck is smoothed with no sagging, but I love my forehead and eyes. People keep telling me my eyes look so bright and I look really happy. Well I look that way because of this incredible surgery but an excellent surgeon. Dr. Toledo and his staff are as good as it gets. After my experience with surgery and recovery I trust him completely.

Dr. Toledo is the best out there. I felt comfortable from the first consultation to the last follow up appointment. I had septoplasty/rhinoplasty and could not be happier with the result. I can finally breathe and love the appearance of my nose. It suits my face much better than before and looks very natural. Go see Dr. Toledo you won't regret it!!

Dr. Toledo performed my breast augmentation and after being more than satisfied, my sister and I came back exactly a year later for our rhinoplasty. He takes a realistic approach in plastic surgery and makes it absolutely perfect. I don’t think I could’ve ever gone to anyone else. When I was 27, I remember thinking “I wonder what am going to look like when I have wrinkles”. When I turned 59, I thought “I wonder what I would look like without wrinkles”! I paid a visit to Dr. Toledo and inquired about a facelift. I told him I only wanted certain things done, He informed me that he knew what needed to be done in order to get the best outcome. I agreed ad had the procedures. The results are simply amazing. Dr. Toledo has literally turned back the hands of time. I haven.t looked or felt this good in years. I may not be 27 anymore; however, I no longer look 60!! Those wrinkles are gone, and heads are starting to turn again. That is a compliment to Dr. Toledo’s abilities as a surgeon. The members of his staff are gracious and make you feel comfortable during the process, as well.

I had a primary rhinoplasty done by Dr. Toledo over a month ago. Him and his staff were outstandingly kind to me before, during, and after the surgery. As far as results go, I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I had barely any bruising while recovering and my nose looks beautiful. I wish I had come to Dr. Toledo a lot sooner!

He’s THE best. Had full face lift and besides knowing I look younger they can’t see any signs I had anything “done”. That’s why we call him The Wizard. You have your facelift, in a week or less you’re back out in public, and you look 10+ years younger. Magical!

I’m so grateful for Dr. Toledo, he saved my life. I have been a patient for years. He did my nose and breasts 15 years ago. I came in for a consultation to have a facelift and he noticed a bump on my neck right away. He did an exam and sent me to have a sonogram of my thyroid. The results showed thyroid cancer so Dr. Toledo sent me to a surgeon right away. He even called and talked to the surgeon for me. His staff is so caring they called and sent flowers to the hospital. This was one year ago and I am so thankful to Dr. Toledo. My cancer is gone! I believe God sent me to him that day so he could find the nodule on my thyroid. Have had 3 procedures with Dr. Toledo. Such a wonderful, talented surgeon. Can not imagine going to another Doctor. The staff is wonderful and has been with him for many years which speaks volumes for his kindness. You will not be disappointed with the results.

I saw Dr. Toledo for otoplasty. I researched the procedure for over a year and consulted with other surgeons. After meeting with Dr. Toledo he explained the procedure in great detail and made me feel very comfortable about my decision. I went to Dr. Toledo for a tummy tuck, lipo, and breast reduction. I look fabulous and feel like a million bucks! He did an awesome job and his staff was wonderful, attentive, and caring. He is simply the best! I will return for sure!

Dr. George Toledo met all my expectations from my first consultation through the post visits. His professional, friendly staff made me feel comfortable; answered all my questions; called me often during the healing process. Dr. George Toledo is a caring, excellent, talented surgeon who removed twenty years from my face. He performed a brow lift, upper and lower eye lids, face and neck lift, and ear lobe reductions. I highly recommend him and only wish I had this surgery earlier. My advice to anyone who is even considering having this, don't wait. Go see Dr. Toledo. There is no pressure there for you to have any surgery. This is your decision. Dr. Toledo will help you understand all the options and possibilities. He wants you to be pleased with the results, because he cares deeply for all his patients.
