I wrote the previous review about missing comparison for MRI. I do not see any way to delete that review so let me further amend that review to the other extreme. Dr. Visvikis reached out me by phone and we were able to discuss and resolve why the comparison was not seen by him on his end and what the issues in him not receiving the communication from facilities. He was extremely thoughtful and generous with his time and expertise, and apologized for the oversight that resulted in canceled appt. Appreciate his professionalism, kindness, and accountability. Did not read MRI properly with comparison then becomes unreachable, should be disciplined by nyu. This radiologist failed to do comparison upon request intake papers and per in house requirement to check for comparisons which there are 2 , 2015 and 2017 for an MRI of neck I had at nyu rad in great neck last week. Then he just goes on vacation and nobody is accountable to get addendum to report at nyu. So my neurologist considers it incomplete cancels my followup appointment then she will leave on vacation. Because of this mistake and it's not an oversight..the 2 prior scans are easily seen in nyu portal I have no information and no treatment now for weeks . Absolutely unacceptable for a Dr to not respond to multiple emails and contacts to.fix his mistake. Chief radiologist at nyu refused to fix his mistake says I will have to wait for this dr. To return. Outrageous disregard for patient right to information. I wouldn't trust any of his observations based on the fact he couldn't… properly find and do a comparison. Filing formal grievance.
