Dr. George Farid El-Khoury, MD

This is the second time I was referred to Dr El-Khoury. The first was 10 years ago for back pain to avoid surgery. That did not work but had nothing to do with the doc or office. They were bit slower then but he gave me two injections to try and relax the disc area and although it was better the first time, the second didn't help much and I ended u on the table. 9 weeks ago I was sent back when my insurance changed and they now have the best office regimen Ihave ever encountered. The very first visit took awhile as the intake lady has to assemble your complete file before the LPA lady takes you in. Once we got that done I was seen immediatly and my scrips filled out.hey have a great service to call for refills. Works perfectly. Yesterday I got another Cortisone shot and I was in & out of there in 55 minutes. My pain is much better and I got a free pen. I don't know what's going on with those crazy people saying he's abrupt or non-caring. He is busy but he's also very good, just not… interested in small talk every visit.

I was a patient of his years ago, I was always treated with respect. The only hard part was the wait, but it was worthwhile.

They cancelled my appointment when they shouldn't have. You call to ask a question and they are so rude. No customer service skills whatsoever. I I was told I needed a authorization and tried to call the front office but the idiot who answered the phone was not only rude but kept saying my insurance was covered. I'm like what are yiu talking about? I was just seen in the office for injections a month ago. She actually hung up on me. I called back and she said I was yelling at her. I wasn't yelling at her when she hung up on me but I did start yelling after I called her back. No wonder the reviews are so bad. I'm looking for an or doctor. I'm going through enough I'm trying to deal with. I dont have time nor the patience to deal with ignorant people. They get a big fat negative zero from me.

How this doctor gets high reviews shocks me. He spent absolutely no time making sure that he put the cortisone injection into the RIGHT area of my left hip. He walked IN the room, stuck the needle in my hip a couple times, talked to me a hair of a little bit, and walked out. Needless to say, I got NO relief after over a month of sciatic pain; yet he - no doubt - billed my insurance company for the cortisone shot and got paid. I hope someday somehow he 'reaps what he sows (doing such a horribly careless injection)! And Daisy, the person who processes requests for approvals made no effort to get an approval for this quickly by not labeling it 'urgent' and lying to me by saying she couldn't whereas the truth is she COULD have labeled my need for a cortisone shot as 'Urgent'. It's obvious dr El Khoury plays favorites by being nice to some and lousy to others

Does not care about patients.

Liked the Dr very much, he was very patient and concerned about the level of my pain. I was very comfortable answering questions regarding this. He was very professional but genuinely concerned about my well being.

It's true.... you may have to spend some time in the waiting room. But the wait is worth it. Dr ElKhoury is a kind, caring, dedicated pain-management professional. He is a specialist in his field and has great bedside manners. Everything you would want, in your doctor. Sincerely!

i have been in pain management for 19 years. I had a very good dr.,he took the time to talk with you on how the meds are working ran test when needed. but dr ElKhoury is a joke, when I got there I waited a hr. to see a p.a.for 10 min. then the next time I saw the dr.was a very uncaring man .he had them call in my meds then the next 2 time I had a scriped the dr gave me when I saw him. then the 4th. time I called the office and the office called the meds in. I saw this dr. once and then was to go back 4 months later!!!he is only about money .and giving meds. iam surprised he is still working and the state has not took his license away!!!!. it was because off insurance I had to change. I will never go to this dr. again!!1

After waiting almost 3 hours I dealt with a rude doctor who didn't even exam me. I will never go back.
