Dr. Gerson Valdez Figueroa, MD

Dr. Gerson Figueroa specializes in cardiovascular disease with additional expertise in interventional cardiology. He earned his medical degree from the University of El Salvador and completed his residency training at East Tennessee State University and the University of Washington. Dr. Figueroa furthered his training with a fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center and holds certification in internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is fluent in both Spanish and English.

Dr. Figueroa is affiliated with Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center and practices at multiple locations including Prosser and Sunnyside, Washington, as well as Elko, Nevada. His clinical focus includes treating high blood pressure conditions, including pediatric hypertension and hypertensive emergencies. He performs diagnostic procedures such as electrocardiograms, contrast echocardiography, and transthoracic echocardiograms to evaluate heart function and diagnose cardiovascular conditions.
