Dr. Ghassan J Samara, MD

A rare, aggressive cancer necessitated major facial surgery & I was concerned about whether a doctor in Reno would have sufficient experience. Fortunately, Dr. Samara has decades of experience performing & teaching exactly what I needed. Wonderful. Could not ask for more. He doesn’t flood you with information but he can answer any question you have, so do your research ahead of time & come with questions.

FIrst you'll see the PA - who like him, will see another issue in your history and claim that is your issue. Cinvenient bc it doent fall iunder ENT. The PA will \ do all the work, Dr will allow. Dont waste your time, Dr is very rude and condescending & so is PA - SB should be ashamed. Do they even treat anyone? I camt believe i waited a month to see this a$$hole? had i known I would have gon elsewhere!

My brother had stage 4 head & neck cancer when he walked into Dr Samaras office. We thought the absolute worst. But Dr Samara operated on him and saved his life! It’s been 4 years and nd my brothers still here! Can’t thank him enough!!!! He is the best. highly recommended!!!!!

Who ever says this man is good or over a 1 star must be heavily medicated he has nobbwdside manners did not even say good morning or how are you feeling this morning before the surgery and that’s just the start of it,if I was to write the whole ordeal I would need 10 pages to bash this loser of a dr how he has been a dr for 29 yrs is mind boggling if you get him run and run fast and far

Very rude, no sincerity. Horrible Horrible person!!!!! And I never write reviews but felt I had to express my opinion about him. I will tell everyone about Dr. Samara. STAY AWAY PEOPLE!!!!!!!!

DR Samara cares more about the number of surgeries(procedures) he will perform than he cares about his patients health. He's quick to recommend sugeries, does not consider other options, does not take time to answer your questions, and does not care to follow-up if the outcome is unexpected. I was referred to him for 1 procedure but ended up with two. I'm now very sick with a post operative condition, was seen only twice after the procedure and was not given a follow-up apointment. I will regret my whole life that I trusted the credentials of this doctor. A surgery as simple as it sounds can leave with with serious conditions. Be careful who you trust with your life. You need a Dr that will follow up if something goes wrong. DR Samara is NOT that kind of Doctor.

Saved my life after his colleagues that are 'above' him failed to solve my sinus issues. Very fair and easy going doctor, that will work with a patient, not just their ailment.
