Dr. Ghazala Hussain Quraishi

By the time I went to her, I was about 80% sure I knew what was going on with my kid. She did not dismiss my suspicions, but rather listened, talked to my young (at the time) son, as well, and proceeded to test quickly in order to get going with the necessary treatment. Once a diagnosis was confirmed, she patiently checked the treatment was working and was the right dosage, etc. My son has since been responding excellently well, and every visit is pleasant - she always takes time to talk directly to my son and to listen to him. I've been thoroughly satisfied with her care.

My daughter was suffering from a weird combination of neurological issues and 3 other doctors just turned her away, "She is probably just coming down with something," they would say. Two years prior, we came to Dr Quraishi to treat a concussion so when other doctors seemed too perplexed, I went back to Dr Quraishi for what I hoped to be an answer for my daughter's symptoms. Dr Quraishi is thorough, considerate, her office staff courteous and punctual- all around a top doc and practice in my opinion.

Someone knocked on the door while I was having my appointment. So I stopped talking assuming she would answer the door. When she did not even budge, I said "Do you need to get that". "no, they are just telling my other appointment is waiting". I saw the side of her face the whole time as she typed away in her computer. I left there not knowing anything. She epitomizes what Obamacare is to come. MY entire experience at FusionSleep was a disaster. No call backs, not email returns, nothing> I had to call the founder to get anyone to answer vital questions.

Dr.Quraishi took the time to LISTEN to me about my teen's sleep disorder and how it affects his life. She offered different RX options for him as well. She also requested testing that other MDs have never even suggested for my medically complex teen. Dr. Quraishi will be my son's NEW ped neuro/sleep specialist..even if we do have to drive 2 hrs one way to get there !!!
