Dr. Gigi Kwok, MD

Dr. Kwok was friendly enough, but she didn’t seem to be fully engaged. In fact she practically ran out the door without saying goodbye when she was done speaking to me. For some reason, she stared at my upper arm for half the time we were speaking. I looked the entire day at my arm to figure out what it was that was so interesting she couldn’t keep eye contact with me. I still don’t get it. Lastly, she had the checkout desk give me a printout for libido. There was a picture of a family on it.... Nothing says let me get your libido going like looking at a husband and wife and their kid. It said to take warm baths and find non sexual ways to enjoy each other. I’m sorry but that is.... not helpful. The printout talks about lube and that might have been helpful if I was in high school, but I’m a grown woman and giving me a sheet like that at the checkout desk but saying nothing to me in person was quite dismissive. Im sure she’s a nice woman, but I was impressed with her as a… physician.

DR Kwok saw my husband on a Thurs. He had a fever, chills and was spitting up blood. He was 65 yrs old, on blood thinner and Embrel. She diagnosed him with Enfluenza B and sent him home with 2 flu prescriptions and a script for a chest xray. He was too sick and weak to stop for the xray and went home to bed. He died on our kitchen floor 3 days later. No one should ever go to this doctor.

She does not care about her patients. She prescribes unnecessary medicine and doesn’t listen to patients needs or concerns. Check her reviews on other sites as well. Many people are saying the same. I just wish I read the reviews prior to my visit.

She’s completely careless and doesn’t listen to your concerns at all

I have been seeing Dr Kwok for 3 years and other doctors previous to her at the same practice. I've been trying to see her for an acute condition and can not even get a return phone call after leaving three messages for her over 3 business days. Extremely disappointed. Sadly I will be looking for a new GP.

Dr. Kwok is by far the best primary care physician that I have ever had.

Did basic test, and passed the ball to another doctor.
