She gave me a week’s “trial” of an amphetamine based on the report, and the plan was to cut me off until I was already having trouble in school and work again. This is not how any other psychiatrist I’ve encountered has operated, and I get puzzled looks when I explain this to other doctors. Finally, 3 out of the 7 appointments I had with her… were DOUBLE BOOKED - meaning I had to wait while another patient in my time slot was seen. 3 other times, I had to wait 15-20 minutes and knock on her door to be met with “oh sorry, I was just doing something.” I have never felt so uncared for. She got her money, and I got my self-doubt and low self esteem reinforced. Maybe she just didn’t like me personally - I’m perplexed by these positive reviews. I hope no one else is made to feel the same way.

Dr. Katz-Weis is my fourteenth Psychiatrist. I will be with her until she retires... nuff said

Very professional. Willing to investigate areas with which she is unfamiliar...in other words able to admit limits of knowledge and obtain appropriate information to best help her patient.
