Dr. Giuseppe Caruso, MD

I was very dissatisfied with Dr. Caruso. I will not be goin back that's for sure. I sat in office 20 mins waiting for him to come back in, while he was on a speaker phone with what I am assuming is his wife. They spoke of meaningless trivial things, like lotto tickets, while I was waiting for him to let me know how my breathing test turned out. 20 minutes he rudely kept me waiting to come in for 3 minutes to tell me the test was fine. The office is very unprofessional. I did not ask the questions I would have because I was so aggravated.

In my opinion his attitude toward patient is disconnected and rigid in treatment . His attitude is one size fits all and and has all who work under him so paralyzed to have any other possible opinion or suggestion that the patient is denied the optimum care.

Rude and arrogant!!!! Any positive reviews for Dr. Caruso must have been written by his staff members. I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so today. He gave me a diagnosis a few weeks back and gave me medication for the diagnosis. However, he now says it is something different, but refused to answer any of my questions. He flat out told me, "I am not answering any more of your questions." I am sorry Dr. Caruso, I have been suffering for a year with debilitating pain and need help! Did you go to medical school for the paycheck or to help people in need? You have the patience of a flea and you are truly the worst doctor I ever met. Do not go to Dr. Caruso! Just because he has MD after his name doesn't make him knowledgeable or kind!

I have been seeing Dr. Caruso for some years now and feel he is an excellent diagnostic no matter what the situation. He has pinpointed why I have had various problems and has helped me through them. He is a Doctor that LISTENS and then helps.

My mom was in St. Joseph's Hospital this doctor has no bedside manner. He threatened to take my mom off of a medication and blood transfusion. I told him I was going to fill out a POA report and challenge him. He then came back in the room and denied everything he said and of course the nurse on staff at the time agreed with him. My ratings are based on his professionalism in the hospital. I can't fill out the survey because was done in the hospital.

Best doctor ever. He saved my husband's life by giving an early diagnosis for a very rare condition. This condition is not usually identified early enough for a successful prognosis, but Dr. Caruso has made an effort to change that. Trust whatever he tells you.
