Two years ago, I had a colonoscopy by Dr. Vaner Zalm.As I had passed out and had to be taken to ER during first try @ colonoscopy prep prescribed by another doctor, I was frightened when I saw him. His two day prep was so easy, and the staff available if I had questions.I saw him again several months later, as I was experiencing more symptoms, and he referred me to a surgeon.I had stage IIIb anal cancer. i believe this is a rare, and elusive cancer, not always detectable during a colonoscopy, but the reason I rated accuracy diagnosing @ moderate.
