Dr. Gloria Hui, MD

Dr.Hui does not waste your time, she sits at her chairs asks the question that needs to be asked and moves on which is fine if thats what you need. However, I came to see her for cardiac clearance for bariatric surgery and I felt that her bedside manner was disappointing. She insensitively spoke about my weight without knowing anything about my medical history, she also listed me as a smoker when I told her that its not something I practice but something ive done in the past, and when I questioned her she rudely responded. During my visit her eye contact was minimal, her tone of voice was disengaged and she also listed me as non latino without asking I am very much a Latina! I felt very judged by this doctor, and am over all dissapointed by her and wished I went elsewhere. since visiting her office, ive had several anxiety attacks and have felt more insecure than ever before. I am sure that it wasn't her intent but her lack of consideration has left me hurt and she lied in my chart.

My husband and I have been under the care of Dr. Hui for many years. Her diagnoses have been accurate and her treatment methods have been state-of-the-art. She has not only treated my husband after a TIA but has also kept him from having another attack for the last 5-6 years!
