Dr. Gordon Kinsella Ahlers, MD

I had the experience of meeting Dr. Ahlers once in Anderson, CA. He worked wonderfully with my son, who has an intense fear of EVERY doctors office he's ever been to. Dr. Ahlers just connected with him in a way we've never experienced before and still to this day, is the only doctor my son has ever let touch him without an intense sensory meltdown. He was patient with my screaming 2 year old, and even walked around the office with him! He had the greatest advice and treatment plan, when every other doctor has just dismissed my concerns. I was devastated to find out that he was a traveling doctor and that we would have to continue our search for another person who could understand my son and his needs. If you're reading this Dr. Ahlers, I would love to continue my sons care with you, wherever you may be on your journey... the diet and the probiotics worked wonders!!!! Best Doctor Ever.

Dr. Ahler's was my primary care physician for many years when he practiced in Vermont. He is at least as much a scientist and detective as a physician. I found him to be communicative, creative, and collaborative, helping me fully understand my conditions and his diagnoses, and participate fully in my own care decisions. His scientifically informed, sometimes extra-conventional attacks on disease helped me overcome mononucleosis in a week, beat Guillain-Barre syndrome in 3 weeks without paralysis or hospitalization, and saved me from double pneumonia with 40% lung impairment (clear on chest x-rays) that had been mis-diagnosed and "blown off" by another practitioner (because my lung capacity is unusually large to begin with).
