Dr. Gordon Paul Hoppe, MD

Dr. Hoppe seems to be a nice enough guy, but he did not listen to me close enough. He acted like he knew what was wrong with me before he even asked any questions. I tried to tell him about the experience I have had with medications. Which ones I have had reactions to and which ones worked well for me in the past. He seemed to not be interested. It may be because of the kickbacks he was going to get to prescribe certian drugs, then maybe not. I am not saying he is a bad Doctor, I'm just saying he did not listen to me. I know my body and what I can tolerate. I know I am not a Doctor, but everybody should know a little about minor infections that we all get and what meds has worked in the past. I think he needs to listen a little closer when a patient is trying to provide info about past experience. Doctors don't know everything, but neither do patients. I will recommend him, but you may need to say no to him if he tries to push something on you that you know may not work very well.
