Dr. Gordon Lee Lerch, DO

We have been patients of this practice and of Dr. Lerch for years and here is why...Dr. Lerch's diagnostic skills are excellent. Determining that we needed to treat our then preemie for RSV very early (after two other practices missed the signs) and doing so early meant we had terrific care and a wonderful outcome! We have been patients ever since. Fast forward to that same patient now being a college student, and refusing to switch doctors yet. We still receive that same attention and care at every appointment by the entire staff at this practice. We have always received a call back, even after hours and can typically get same day appts for any true immediate need. They have treated a multitude of illnesses, a sports related concussion, etc... and always with the patience, guidance and care that you'd expect. I'm honestly going to be sad when our kids finally age out of this practice, it is going to be hard to find an office that cares as much as they do!

I met with Dr Lerch for the first time and I was very impressed. He was extremely patient and seems very passionate for what he does. I've met with several pediatricians before Learch and I decided to go with him because he seemed to be the most knowledge and I really felt comfortable with him. Also the staff were so nice and welcoming which is unusual for me, every time I walk into a doctor's office everyone seems so miserable and rude.. I would definitely recommend Dr Lerch!

I felt inclined to respond to the one star review posted below. My daughters are now adults and saw Dr. Lerch from birth to a19/20yo. We were seen on Saturdays, late night and for every emergency every time we phoned. Complaining about an hour wait is ridiculous when you are seen with an immediate appointment. Just as you expect the doctors to spend as much time as needed with you, expect the same quality time for the other patients. Many doctors have come through the practice over the years. Dr. Lerch has been there the entire time. He has always been caring, thorough and accommodating to every need. We have been seen as late as midnight and left the office at 1am because he and his staff took the time to do a strep test that late at night. As far as complaining that a copay was not waived: It is against the law to waive copays...that is insurance fraud. I am so glad that Dr. Lerch was not willing to break the law for some angry lady. Even after my daughters turned 18 he… still gave them immediate appointments when their new family physician or specialist could not see them in a reasonable time period. My daughters had many of the usual childhood ailments including chronic ear infections, dislocated joints, mono and Lymes disease. They also had a few serious problems. Dr. Lerch and his associates always treated us with first rate service.

My children have been patients of the Gibbsboro office for quite some time now. In fact, we have recommended it to several parents with children. I have had 2 incidents now in which I brought to Dr Lee Lerch's attention. The first was an incident in which I called on a Saturday and was supposed to recieve a call back, but they closed the office early. We ended up having to take my son to the ER and pay 100 dollars because he had a double ear infection. The second was that was took my son to the doctors because he was waking up screaming and crying from ear and belly pain. We waited for an hour, at 9pm they called us in and didn't even do a strep test. We then ended up taking him to the ER YET AGAIN! Positive for strep! I explaned this all t DR Lerch and he didn't seem to care one bit. Step forward to today. I call the office because my daughter now has strep and ask them to waive the fee since I have ER bills to pay. The receptionist tell me they cannot and I ask to speak… with DR Lerch and I am told he will not speak to me an to go find another pediatrician. My daughter has strep throat and I didn't think I was being unfair to ask they waive a 30 co pay. I have NEVER had a problem with any other doctor in this office until I started dealing with DR Lerch directly. The reason I started going to the office is because I thought he was a "Christian" with values, but obviously I was wrong. I have loved every single one of the doctors in the Gibbsboro office and NEVER once had a problem. I am appauled at the lack of concern or care by DR LEE LERCH. Now my daughter has strep throat and I have no where to go.

I am raising a grandchild who has had a rough transition Dr Susan is amazing and was and is completely there for us. She made a terrified child like the dr.s. And the office nurses are amazing. GREAT !

Dr. Lerch is the best in his field. He is knowledgeable and has a way of delivering information to his patients which is clear & concise. It is obvious that he loves working with children and their families, and develops a wonderful relationships with the kids. I fully trust him, in his decision making in treating my children as he alway explains why he chooses a certain course of action. He is humble and is always willing to help. It is no wonder that he was named Top Doc as well as receiving the Patient's Choice Award. He's the best

Dr. Lerch is the most dedicated and caring physician we have known, equal only to Dr. Simmers, his predecessor. His clam, compassionate, humorous, knowledgeable manner helped us get through emergencies and some scary medical issues. Our children were seen no matter how late we called for an appointment. Doctors will stay in his offices even past midnight. It was very difficult for my children to leave when they became adults as no other doctor has been able to live up to Dr. Lerch's performance. Dr. Lerch is the best in his field.

I would highly recommend this practice to my friends and family. The staff is friendly and highly trained and handle urgent situations well. I love all the doctors. I never feel rushed and have spent so much time with my son and are so kind and caring. I wouldn't take my child anywhere else.

Dr. Lerch is fantastic. I'm less enthusiastic about Dr. Amato. He does not seem to do well with kids.

Dr. Lerch has a wonderful practice. I never feel rushed by him and he always answers my questions completely. He is great with my children and they all love him. Dr. Lerch treats my children as if they were his own. He is a humble man, with a caring and compassionate heart. His staff is equally as good. They are kind, and do whatever they can to help me.
