Dr. Luk, a native of Hong Kong, completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California at Berkeley, and earned his Doctorate of Medicine degree from the University of the East College of Medicine in the Philippines. After immigrating to the United States, he completed his pediatric residency at the University of South Floridas School of Medicine in Tampa. He was elected by his peers and served as chief resident at Tampa General Hospital. Upon graduation, he was honored with the Resident of the Year and the Resident Teacher Awards. With an interest in heart diseases, Dr. Luk was a fellow at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center.
