Five years ago I found Dr. Raju at MD Anderson for my first screening colonoscopy based on internet information. He was extremely kind and knowledgeable in the consultation session. Then he conducted the procedure excellently and provided the detailed report that left me health confidence for years. Yesterday, Dr. Raju performed my second colonoscopy followed by his immediate medical report. I am very satisfied with every step of his treatment (before, during, and afterwards). His entire team at MD Anderson is awesome. Everyone is very nice and always ready to answer any questions from the patient. I am luck and always appreciate Dr. Raju and his team. I have recommended Dr. Raju to several of my friends over the years and will definitely continue to do so for anyone with the need.

Dr. Raju is truly a phenomenon among physicians. I am 76 years old and have been treated by many physicians for many conditions. Dr. Raju stands out far in front of all of them not only in medical knowledge and competence in care, but personal accessibility and patient contact, dedication to understanding and meeting the needs of his patients, follow-through care, and instilling absolute security in the minds of his patients that they will receive his total interest and the very best care available. Dr. Raju practices at M.D. Anderson which provides state-of-the art everything, but especially avenues for patient contact and information. Nevertheless, Dr. Raju has personally called me several times to check on my progress and allow me to address any concerns. He even called me while he was out of the country the week after my procedure to check on me and again the morning of the day he returned. I presented with a challenge medical situation which could have gone south very easily, but… Dr. Raju assured me he would do everything in his power to avoid major complications and he came through, even following up personally, not through his assistants but through personal telephone calls to make sure my recovery is going well. Never have I encountered such complete, dedicated, professional, caring, personal care as I have experienced as a patient of Dr. Raju.

Dr Raju is a professional in every sense. He knows his practice and he has an incredibly effective, warm and understanding bedside manner. He cares about his patients and it's evident in how he handles them. He's also courteous to his team. He is a stickler for protocol which is a very good thing. He doesn't cut corners
